"Stay AWAY!!! I wish I'd read the reviews before trying to even contact them. I canceled coverage before the effective date, but then they also denied me insurance after. No prob, but you know what? THEY CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER PERSON'S POLICY !!!!!! Is that fraud? How can I report that? Tried to call them to fix the issue. Nothing unhelpful - basically, they told me I was lying. Fixing it now directly with the BANK. Thankfully, I didn't cancel my other policy. STAY AWAY!!! SCAMMERS"

"If I could give zero stars I would. They are scammers and liars! Salesperson we originally talked to about insurance signed us up for a plan we didn’t even agree too! We literally told them on the phone we were just going to go through marketplace, but they said we still could do the health questionnaire that was just a way to see if we even qualify, NOT THAT IT AUTOMATICALLY SIGNS YOU UP. I didn’t even participate in it, my husband did. He was denied, but they still went ahead and signed me up without him even though he is the subscriber and they hadn’t even talked to me or gotten my consent to be on their stupid plan! After realizing they started billing us and we called to tell them to cancel, they played dumb and acted even shadier til I told them I was going to report them. They quickly cancelled and refunded us after that because they know the way they are doing business is not right. And judging by the other reviews, we are not the first to get scammed by them. Terrible business! Awful people to deal with. Sales people are the worst of their kind. Don’t even talk to them on the phone, they will push for info telling you it’s just for records saying they have to show they at least go over it with you, but in reality they push for it to hope you don’t notice when they enroll you with the info they get from you that they say is just standard even if people don’t want the plan. HORRIBLE!"

"This was a complete waste for my time and money. I signed up with them while living in another state. When Ioved to another state they said that monthly would go up which is fine I guess, it’s to be expected. However it was a complete over sight from there end because apparently i could not use my insurance in the new state at all. So why did my premium go up? Why did I pay when I should have been asked to get a new policy since I moved to a new state? The agent that helped me was great but I specifically asked to have full coverage this includes obgyn check ups. When i finally went to go to the appointment they told me that my insurance could not cover this. I called the insurance company and they said that they never saw any thing on their record saying that I asked to have obgyn check ups coverage and I should talk to my agent. I did end up calling my agent but she didn't seem to do anything about the fact that she failed to tell the insurance company what I wanted. I am so disappointed in the whole experience. Another thing is that it did work for my dermatologist appointments at first. I had an appointment in august and I canceled my policy in September but for some reason they wording cover my appointment in august because they said I had no policy…how does that make sense? I canceled my policy a month later, the august appointment should have been covered. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company at all. Go to a more trusted and more established insurance company. Freedom life insurance does not have anything put together. 0 stars if I could."

"The absolute WORST insurance I have ever had. They basically pay for nothing. Anytime I went to see a doctor or had anything done at all, I would receive a bill for the amount due. I would have to call this insurance company every single time and argue with them to pay. Even though you are paying them monthly to cover your medical expenses, they won’t pay anything unless you call them to complain about the bill you received. This is absolutely not right! It’s almost like they make it such a hassle in hopes that you will just pay the bill in full to avoid the headache. It’s a total joke. DO NOT use freedom life insurance at all, ever!"

"I wish I would have read the reviews before proceeding with this company. I was fraudently charged $400 for a plan I never agreed to! The advisor I worked with was horrendous to get in contact with. He lied on my application about my health for it to look better. I had a funny feeling the entire time and decided to go with a different company then boom charged for something I never agreed to. I had barely spoke to the advisor so it’s absurd that I was even charged. Absolutely no services were used in order for this to happen. DO NOT PROCEED WITH THIS COMPANY. I’m changing my entire bank account so I don’t keep getting charged. Their phone number on google doesn’t even work. So upset."
