"Boyfriend and I were visiting from Chicago and, after traveling for a hell of a time, we were starving. Long story short, the burgers here were the absolute best we've ever had. Atmosphere was very chill and the staff were super friendly. Will definitely come back if we're ever back in town!"
"Stopped & ate on our way back from Galena. Everyone's food was superb & every one was super friendly. Highly recommend this establishment."
"I have been passing through Morrison for a few months, and I have had the opportunity to know some local food. I can say that Fatboys hamburger meat is incredible, juicy, fresh, delicious! be sure to try the corn nuggets, they are great! we ordered the bacon cheeseburger but they tell me everyone's favorite dish is patty melty"
"Update June 2021. Recently I had the Patty Melt and it was fantastic: thick and juicy, two kinds of cheese, grilled onions and a mild tasting rye bread. My wife had the Chefs Salad - - it was very large, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, and there was a good-sized portion of ham on it. Prices are still reasonable, the waitress / bartender was friendly and efficient, and the food was great as usual. Excellent burgers! Hand-made pattys, about 1/2 lb in weight: thick and juicy. Prices about $5.50 to $7.00 depending on if you have a regular burger, add cheese/ bacon/mushrooms/etc. A small french fry adds $1.50, but is a substantial portion ( the large probably feeds two). Also salads, tenderloins, etc on the menu. This is an older building and a "neighborhood" bar and grill -- if you want a fancy atmosphere you'll have to go elsewhere. It is very popular with the locals, and at lunch time the crowd can be school teachers, local businessmen, blue collar workers, farmers, etc... They also have a few video gambling machines, as do a growing number of Illinois bar and grills."
