"I brought my Rx’s in directly from being discharged from the hospital. They said my Rx’s were photocopies and would not fill them. They were in fact legitimate Rx’s from the hospital and they made it very difficult to fill my Rx’s that I NEEDED. I would give one star but I’ll give three because the GoodRx discount. Do better."
"When my dad got out of the hospital we had to get him a prescription immediately. Unfortunately, he uses the va and nothing every works out with them. After driving around and trying several different pharmacies, we ended up talking to Christopher at Walmart. He went out of his way to help us when no one else would. It was obvious he truly cared even though he didn’t even know us. We were able to get my dad’s prescription by paying out of pocket but with a discounted rate with something Christopher found. We are beyond grateful. Thank you, Christopher."
"Always a mess, never fully stocked, you have to check yourself out because there are only 2 cash registers with cashiers left (the least you could do is give us a discount for doing your job for you), and the deli lady ignored me for 20 minutes with no one else there and then had the gaul to overreact when we asked for help claiming she didn't have eyes in the back of her head (she looked in my direction several times). Walmart used to be a great company. Sad it has become so poorly managed around the country."
"I picked up a prescription that is covered under Medicare Part B and usually costs $0. I was charged $85 instead. The pharmacist, Tim, told me it was because I had to meet the deductible. Meanwhile, the doctor's nurse had also called the prescription into an HEB pharmacy for some reason. I got a phone call from them, and they were going to charge me $36 for the same prescription and said that was to meet the deductible. In checking with a few Medicare supervisors, Tim never submitted the prescription to Medicare; instead he charged me $85 out of pocket. When I called Tim, he said he would check with Medicare, but he never did. He said he had a tech check instead. To this day, 60 days later, a claim has never been submitted to Medicare for this prescription. Today I went in to pick up another prescription for which I had a voucher for one free month. I called and told them that I had a voucher ahead of time. After driving 40 minutes to get there, the tech spoke with the pharmacist, Tim, and he was apparently baffled about how to process it. He told the tech to tell me that I had to call the number on the voucher to activate it, and they are only open M-F. Upon getting back in the car, I looked at the voucher, and it required no activation by me. The only telephone number on it was one for the pharmacist to call if he needed help processing it. I called Tim on the phone. It was apparent that he was caught in his own deceit and mumbled something about Medicare not taking it. The voucher was from the pharmaceutical company and nothing to do with Medicare. I will never go back to this Walmart pharmacy again. It is bad enough that the lines are always long and slow, but it has certainly lost any trust I ever had in them."
"Waited for 70 minutes for Curbside order. Checked in, called and confirmed check in after waiting several minutes. Watched multiple cars that had arrived after I had get their orders. No one would answer calls despite several additional attempts to get an ETA on our order. Daughter needed a bathroom and I wasn’t taking her onto a Walmart bathroom during a pandemic so we left. They acted like they were doing is a favor refunding is for the order. Manager told me “they’d hold it for me til the next day if I wanted to try again”. Sticking to H-E-B here on out."
