"We just bought a new Acadia late Monday evening. It was well after closing to get everything finished up and several staff stayed without complaint to get the purchase completed. Kudos for that. Now the complaint; it wasn't until finalizing the paperwork in the finance office that we noticed a $249 charge for nitrogen filled tires. This was added to the negotiated bottom line price and we were adamantly told that this is added to every vehicle they sell and is not a negotiable item. I personally have zero belief that nitrogen filled tires are worth the cost and it doesn't take much research to confirm that. We live over two hours away so it has even less value, actually a hindrance. We were so committed to the car at that point I didn't get up and walk away which is what should have occurred. And the kicker; on the way home I was flipping through settings and found that they didn't even fill the tires equally. Nice guys, real nice. The picture I snapped is attached. Their MO is to pad the bottom line with non-negotiable, unwanted and arguably unnecessary line items. Helps keep the lights on I guess. My two cents, drive on by..."
