Reviews
"Charge an extra $0.10 per gallon for using your card. Scammers"
"If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely so rude and always out of stock for everything"
"Employee with the combover was wildly rude. Can't believe he/she they/them is essential. Seriously, the person was rude enough to get this review."
"I am a 67 Year old black retired senior citizen/retired Navy Veteran and I went in Circle K on 5/1/22 at around 7:20pm to make a purchase and use the public restroom that I had used before during the four years I've lived on Kingery Court in Belleville. There was white female store clerk and a white customer standing near the counter as I walked towards the restroom door and this white store clerk started walking behind saying we don't have a public restroom and I replied that I had used it before in the past as we walked back towards the front. I then decided to go back to where the sodas were and the white patron then told me not to go back there in an attempt to intimidate me and we had a few words as I got three Pepsi and two 7-Up Sodas and got in line as the white guy who said something to me was being waited on. As I stood in line the White female Store Clerk attempted to chastise me again about the restroom never being public and we had a few words. Moments later she told me to just put my stuff and that I can leave the store because I said that I was never coming in this store again (because they arbitrarily discriminated against me based on my race). I believe that Circle K has a policy and practice of discriminating against blacks as evidenced by the white female store clerk telling me to leave the store while serving the white patron who had attempted to intimidate me by telling me that I better not go back there. It should noted that all the sodas are kept near the restroom door. My second issue is that Circle K is selling Donuts made by Wood Bakery even though they know that Wood Bakery Delivery Guy did not wear any plastic gloves, hairnet (or cap), and did not cover any of the pans of Donuts, which he brought in as I was standing in line. These omissions constitute a violation of Illinois Food and Sanitation Laws, St. Clair County Department of Public Health Rules/Ordinances, and Belleville City Ordinances relating to preparation and delivery of food products."
