"I have taken my vehicles to Jac's for years and have always gotten great service. This time I hard a starter go out so I just had it towed to the closest place. There they wanted $200 just to diagnose it. And then quoted me $800 for the service. I looked up parts and they cost $225 so I was gonna pay $600 in labor?? I called John (at Jac's) like I should have done in the first place and got quoted $415! I seriously won't ever cheat on Jac's again."

"brought in my 2012 Equinox to have the engine replaced with a rebuilt Jasper engine. They took a lot longer than estimated to do the work. They damaged the transmission while replacing the engine. They did not replace the worn engine mounts or several other wearable parts. They refused to do anything about it. Aamco stated that due to the nature of the damage to the transmission, it only could have happened when the engine work was being done. Lady answering the phone was rude and unprofessional. We've had to spend an additional $4000.00 on repairs on top of the $10,000 we spent on the rebuilt engine. Their excuse was that their "ace mechanic" quit a few days before we dropped of our car. This shop is staffed with idiots. They have no problem taking your money."
