"Let me start out by saying !! I have only had CarShield for almost Three Months!!! Before my transmission went out, on my truck!! On, 01/19/2024 my transmission went out on my truck. I called the roadside assistance, through CarShield. They were able to call a towing company for me and within 30 to 40 minutes I had a tow truck to me. I was very impressed with that. Through the process of my truck being delivered to a local GMC Dealership, of my choosing which was nice I had a say in where my truck goes to be work on. Once at the dealership they dropped the pan on my transmission went through a few other steps. I was called by the dealership and told the warranty company is getting me another GM transmission ( Reman ) but a GM transmission none the less! They had to ship the transmission to the dealership it was a five day process to do so. The transmission was installed in my truck and out of pocket for me was only $134.75 because I had GM rewards and credits! My deductible was only $200.00 if I didn’t have the credits through my rewards obviously. CarShield was involved in this manner and I called a couple of times to check on the progress of the work. Where they went step by stop through this, with me. They were very open and forthcoming about what was going on with my truck while at the dealership. Transparency is everything this day and time. It was nice to have a company on my side durning this ordeal. I highly recommend CarShield to anyone that is planning on keeping their vehicle! Thank you again CarShield for having my back on this.
