"I have never had a CarShield contract however they evidently have my phone number in error on one of their accts. I have received 2 or 3 calls a day asking for payment, explained I do not have an acct. and they say they will remove my phone number from that acct. This has been going on for a month and still getting calls. PLEASE correct this mistake!"

"Go into it thinking that you're paying out of pocket for everything. Customer service agents each give different information, doesn't seem like they know what's going on - You can't talk directly to your adjuster so you're always talking to someone different. When you ask to talk to a manager, they ask me why I need to talk to one? They don't take accountability when you're given wrong information. I was given a list from them of mechanics that they said go by "standard labor rates" so that I wasn't having to pay for ridiculous increase for parts... Come to find out the company didn't go by labor standard rates, so I was stuck with the difference on all parts after all was said and done - Then when I asked about it, they basically said it wasn't their problem. I called 5 other mechanics on the list and none of them would take my car because of the warranty companies' reputation, I was told by every single one that they won't work with them because they never pay. Spent over a month wondering what was going on with my claim - They required my engine be completely torn down even after the mechanic told them exactly what was wrong with car (which I was required to pay for out of pocket = $2,500) and wouldn't reimburse me even though the cause of failure was covered under my contract. Then they came back and said it was from "continued driving" when I parked the car right after it started having issues. I'm now stuck with my car engine in pieces and a $7,700 bill to get it back on the road. This company is icky, don't waste your money!"

"Hands down, CarShield is 2nd to none, my a/c was acting up, I took my car to the dealership, they found that the a/c compressor was going out, I told them I had CarShield, and my adviser said he’ll take care it, he called CarShield told them the issue, CarShield approved the repairs, this was on a Tuesday and Thursday I had my car back, cold air, CarShield got it done!!! There was no hassle, no going back and forth, no issues, they just got things done!! And got it done fast!!!."

"I just sent my vehicle, (2016 Mercedes Benz C300 4matic 86,000 miles) to Mercedes Benz of Oklahoma City, they will be running an diagnostic test on it tomorrow or Friday. We are suspecting that it’s a wiring issue, which should be covered in my Platinum plan. Possibly the wiring harness, I am not even sure (as I’m not a mechanic) but will be following up with the service dept. asap. I will keep you all updated as we go forward. I have heard so many negative reviews about Carshield, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN TO STICK WITH THEM, TRUSTING that they stand by their warranty on my Mercedes. Hope I can update this post as we move forward, have a wonderful Wednesday afternoon. 100 degrees here in Norman Oklahoma! I WILL UPDATE THE STARS ACORDINGLY! UPDATE: Carshield covered all expenses, except the $100.00 deductible. I was blown away. Both by Mercedes Benz of Oklahoma, for the fantastic work, and the quickness and ease of using my Carshield to pay for the repairs. Thank you so much Carshield!"

"Joined CarShield in March 2023 and very pleased so far. Yes, you have other options in coverage with others, but I do my research and find that for my coverage and payment plan checks all the boxes! Hope you will consider CarShield for your coverage plan too."
