Walmart Pharmacy

"I went to pick up my child's prescription. The pharmacist felt the need to suggest that my child should wear a jacket because it's cold in the store. I politely smiled and responded, "I hear ya, but they're fine." They responded, "they're fine? How do you know?" He then looks at my child and says to them, "You really should. It's cold in here." Sir, it's the summer time in South Texas. We just walked inside from 92° weather. You were also wildly inappropriate in speaking to my child in any way outside of a professional, "hello" or "have a nice day" or something to that effect. I'm sure they may know how to do their job, but I don't believe any of their comments are within the scope of being a Walmart Pharmacist. Why anyone would feel the need to speak to a 7 year old about this is really odd. I shared this with the local Mom group and apparently other parents have also experienced similar problems with this particular Pharmacist. Maybe just stick to your job. The social exchange really isn't necessary."

"Tami at the pharmacy is extremely helpful. I've been coming to this location for years, and everytime my prescriptions come out to a ridiculously expensive cost...Tami would be the only one to inform me that I could get a coupon (that I never knew I could get) to help reduce the cost, especially considering how pricey prescription medication is nowadays. Most of the other employees there wouldn't even bother going that extra length and providing that extra customer service because you can just see it in their faces that they are bothered and don't want to be there and just want to quickly get you out of their line. But not Tami. Thank you for your help!"

"Today I decided to start looking for a new pharmacy. They weren't mean and certainly weren't nice. There was no line but I waited about 2 mins. before getting help. My order had been placed about an hour and half before. It wasn't ready. I knew that was possible. But I asked how long and she said 30 mins. I didn't have that amount time. Why it takes 30 mins to put 90 pills in a bottle (2hrs if you count from ordered placement), I don't know. 30 mins is an oil change in my mind. So I left and will pick up later. But it made me realize I need to seek better more efficeint service else where. I may just go back to mail pharmacy because other major pharmacies aren't much better these days. It felt like being at the DMV."

"I switched from CVS to Walmart for better prices. On my initial visit I felt like I entered the DMV. A complete lack of compassion and empathy for a product of a sensitive and vulnerable nature. I was told 3 different fill dates and times only to arrive to excuses and the prices of the prescriptions to be 570% more expensive. The pharmacist evaded any leadership or authority. Drugstore Plowboys..."

"I have never had problems with Wal-Mart pharmacy ever. However today I was told that "I don't want to use a script coupon cause it cost Wal-Mart money to change the current coupon." Last time I checked coupons were meant to save the customer money with no lecture about what the company suffers to use it. Then being told that I didn't already know if it would work really set me off. However after remaining calm and keeping my mouth to myself. I was then lectured again. Hopefully this will be rectified so future customers are not hassled over trying to save a few dollars. Btw my new coupon actually saved me over $25.."
