Established 99 years ago, Miller Outdoor Theatre has been a cultural and educational hub for the city, offering free performances to the public. The theatre, set on 7.5 acres in Hermann Park, features a first-class proscenium stage, seating for 1,705 patrons, and a lawn area for additional seating. Managed by Houston First Corporation, Miller Hill hosts a diverse range of performances throughout its eight-month season, showcasing top-notch entertainment that is always free of charge. The institution has a rich history, with highlights including the dedication of the original theatre in 1923 and the renovation of the facility in 1996. "Hillside is fun filled side. Go to the top and roll down the hill is a great fun. Many people visit. Some people have no sense. some young adults and teenagers behave so odd. this place needs lot of maintenance. they have red ants in spots."

Walk to the top, lay down on the steep side away from the theater, and roll down the hill as many times as you can before you lose your lunch. Glorious fun. 8 year old kids are better at this than adults but we can all enjoy it."
