"I've been in the healtcare industry for 20+ years and I've rarely worked with anyone as knowledgeable, caring and committed to my recovery as Dan Cole, the therapist I worked with. I had total confidence in him and my recovery. He deserves my highest recommendation. Thank you for a full recovery!"
"I have had pain in my RIGHT hip for nearly 20 years. It turns out I injured the LEFT one and the right was compensating. (Mind Blown!) Christine was amazing. Her exercises look simple but I they are clearly targeting muscles that are weak!! I was doing lunges wrong - who knew? The hip pain is much better after only a few sessions and doing the simple exercises at home."
"My therapist, Christine, pays close attention to my description of the problem in my left hip, and thinks carefully about the limited information I am able to provide. Christine is an excellent communicator and listener. She also carefully observes my movements to help her figure out what is going on. Finally, she recommends specific exercises based on her understanding of my problem, for the clinic, and at home. While it is hard to say how effective the treatments are so far, the problem in my hip has not been showing itself lately- an encouraging sign. Update- I finished therapy a few months ago. Christine healed me! The problem in my left hip is basically gone. I realize I need to continue doing the exercises though. Honestly, I am very surprised- I did not expect this chronic problem I have had for a long time to be fixed, but it is."
"I visited Austin Manual Therapy July - September of 2023. I ended the therapy because it was costing $240 out of pocket with my insurance. Shortly after this my insurance company sent a summary stating that my bill should only have been $160 per visit. So, I went to the office on 10/4 to get a summary of my visits. In addition to showing that I had overpaid by $80 per visit, the summary showed that they had billed me $160 for 8/29 (a 10 minute visit for which the therapists told me they could not perform physical therapy because I needed to get cleared by my doctor due to an ER visit). On 10/4 the front desk agreed I was due $320, which included a refund for 8/29. For the next 4 months I had to continually remind them I was due a refund. On 1/19/24 I received a refund for $160 instead of $320. When I called to ask about this, I was told they would not refund the charge for $160 on 8/29 because it was a 'consult'. The therapy I received here was good, however, dealing with the over payment was a nightmare. I'm not sure I would have received any refund at all if I hadn't pointed it out to them and nagged them for 4 months. On top of that, charging a patient $160 for a 10-15 minute visit in which they spent most of the time determining they couldn't perform PT is not a good way to build a relationship. The people here are nice, but the overall experience, particularly the charge here for a 10-15 minute 'consult', led me to think they care more about my money than me as a patient."
"Christine is very thorough & actively listens & responds accordingly. The interns are always on hand & ready to jump in. The front desk is efficient at juggling all the bookings -and everyone I’ve come in contact with treats me like a person first -not just a number or just a patient. Highly recommend this center to anyone needing PT!"
