"I found Dr. Nguyen through recommendations. Yen is extremely experienced with insurance and took care of my annoying insurance quickly (a lot of offices have issues.) She is very thorough and friendly. We had a fun discussion while I was waiting. Dr. N was such a pleasure to meet. We went into his office for questions etc and I would have sat there for hours talking to him. Very personable. I believe he has delivered 10k babies in the past. Lots of wisdom. We came full circle when I mentioned my dad's name who was a GP and he remembered him from the 1990's at Memorial Southwest! Very intelligent person. He gave great advice and had a check up and quick pap which was distracted by talking so I didnt feel awkward whatsoever. I left feeling extremely grateful to have crossed paths!"

"The reviews about Dr. Nguyen's bedside manner are on point. He took me into his office to discuss a plan for me and answered all the questions I had for him. The only staff member present at the time of my visit was Petra who I've been dealing with on the phone after making my first appointment. She was courteous and respectful. I am pleased with how my first visit went and hope to stay with Dr. Nguyen for future OBGYN visits."

"I’ve had a lot of gyn’s and I can say without a doubt Dr. Nguyen is the absolute best. He genuinely cares for his patients and the nurses he works with. He has never been dismissive with any of my concerns and is extremely knowledgeable. He is very patient and overall is just a kind person. I work for a facility that Dr. Tom Nguyen delivers at and I specifically chose him as my OB because of my multiple encounters with him and how highly the nurses speak about him. Could not recommend any doctor more."

"Dr. Tom Nguyen is a great doctor and very professional. On the other hand . his front desk staff (especially Laura) need to improve on their customer service skills - their attitude is not great and come across as people who don't like their job. Ladies, please do something before you make the doctor lose his customers!"

"TL;DR: Dr. Nguyen is great! His table manner is awesome for general wellness! His staff needs SERIOUS improvement! The lady on the phone was terrible even just to schedule an appointment. Dr. Tom Nguyen is a great doctor and his table manner is great because my mom has nothing but nice things to say about him as a doctor. BUT... his staff (especially the lady who answered the phone- I was so annoyed by the end of the conversation that I forgot to get her name) seriously needs an improvement! My mother has been seeing him since 2009 and I called to make an appointment for her and the lady's attitude was off the chart today. After going through the usual questions, changes to insurance, phone #, I told her EVEN though my mom has insurance, she has been paying cash for Dr. Nguyen and she proceeded to ask me again with what insurance does my mom have. I again had to repeat that she will be paying cash. I asked for an appointment date and she gave me a date/time, I was like "can I have that time? If there is any changes, I can always give you a call in advance to cancel the appointment." She was like you can always call back and schedule the appointment. I was so worried because my mom does not get day off often so I told her just to book the appointment so she can secure her spot. I was like my mom has been seeing Dr. Nguyen forever (~10 years) and this is the first time I heard of this nor hearing that I cannot call back to cancel the appointment if something happen. I was like why can you just schedule the appointment and I'll call back if there is any changes, I have never heard of reschedule fee for all this time that she has been a patient. After so much deliberation/annoyance on her end, she ended up scheduling the appointment. By this time, I asked to speak to her manager because I was fed up with her attitude for giving me a hard time to even book the appointment and she proceeded to tell me that her manager was not there (of course she was not, what did I expect?). I was like "just because you hate your life and your job, you should not give me an attitude" and she proceeds with "excuse me! I am not giving you an attitude". I get it, you hate your life, you hate your job but please please do not take it out on me. ALL I was trying to do was trying to book an appointment for my mom to have a check up. It's so hard to find a doctor who she can trust with all of the issues that a woman may be facing but Dr. Nguyen's staff is making it so hard to be able to go to a place where you do not get get the respect you deserve as a patient even just from the appointment scheduling. My mom found that patient-doctor trust and she is willing to go back to Dr. Nguyen for health problem but this lady did not make it any easier on just the scheduling component alone. Trust me, I worked a fast food restaurant longer than I wanted to admit, and I do not get treated like human sometimes but I choose to NOT treat everyone I cross path with a terrible attitude. I really do hope that the office and even Dr. Nguyen, with his professional attitude, won't treat my mom with a bad attitude when she comes to the appointment because of this incident because she was not involved in this shenanigan. I would not be surprise if the lady cancels the appointment out of spite but if she cancels the appointment it would be really 1. unprofessional of her to do anything like that and 2. it's a shame to have people out there who is making life harder for everyone else because they think they can."
