"I simply called and made an appointment for my dog to receive her shots without discussing ANYTHING extra. I get there and somehow they magically deduced that I wanted my dog to receive future vaccinations when I never stated that. Bill ended up being $130…. never again. I see exactly what the bad reviews are about"
"Did not charge me the quoted price for animal medication. Ended up costing $110 more than should have. Disappointed they didn’t honor their word. Proceed with caution."
"When I got my dog from CAPS, they mentioned that the clinic behind them, The Cornelius Clinic, would be good for little services at an affordable price. I took my dog to get his nails trimmed and had an appointment. We walked in and there were barely any spots to sit by the amount of families and pets inside the lobby. Once it was my dogs turn, 30 min past his original appointment time, I could hear him crying inside the room. His tail was hitting the door and as a mom, I could tell something was off because he doesn't just cry unless he senses something or he's hurting. They came out and told me "So he definitely doesn't like getting his nails trimmed" while laughing. She followed up with saying the next time it'd be an up charge for his service. They didn't tell me what he did or how he was acting, but my thought process is, if he isn't cooperating, have me or his dad be in there with him to calm him down. Don't get me wrong, a nail trim for $15 is affordable, but I wasn't told the "up-charge" price for next time and the attitude and customer service was not good. I brought my dog here to get his nails trimmed, obviously I know he doesn't like it, otherwise I would've done it at home. On the car ride home he fell asleep on my chest from being so worn out and anxious. It absolutely breaks my heart and I will not be returning."
"When me and my fur baby went in we were greeted and everything seemed great until they took my baby back to give him his vaccinations. They took longer than most of the dogs so I knew something was wrong. One of the technicians who had a lip piercing ( because I don’t think she was a veterinarian) came out very Loud and said that my dog has ring worms and started treating us like we were contagious. Is there no such thing as HIPAA in the veterinary world?? Anyways my dog is a Frenchie and he has very bad food and seasonal allergies so anything will make him break out. My problem was that they did not ask me any medical history they just assumed that it was ring worms. They didn’t do a skin test or anything they just ASSUMED. It’s not what was said it was how they presented it to me and how they made us feel, it was very rude. The prices are great but the customer service from one of the technicians was very rude and I don’t even feel welcomed to come back. I understand that they are just taking precautions but I have had my dog since he was 8 weeks and we have spent so much money and time diagnosing him I know what he has and doesn’t have. We have never experienced service like this."
"Took my two male cats in today. They were scared but not aggressive like normal pets. The staff were very nice and respectful however I was blamed that I came in early which I understand I was an hour early and they were at lunch and I didn’t mind waiting but I did actually wait in the car but there was one of the staff who was a bit disrespectful about it and I didn’t say anything or argue at all about it. they wouldn’t let me go in with my cats plus the Dr mentioned that she didn’t do the full office visit because they were anxious and I was still charged for it. When I was scheduling the appointment, I mentioned over the phone and when I arrived that I wanted to talk to the Dr about the vaccines and they ignored that but i had to ask twice maybe more to talk to her. Again, most of the staff were very friendly. However the Dr was not the best. Never taking my cats over there again. Also, how come she doesn’t know if they were male or female if she really did the exam? She mentioned that she only examined the bottom not the face cause they were anxious then asked me if they were male or female. What a great experience."
