"My second time visiting this office to see Dr. Akwaugu. The first time they took two entire weeks to get me results back that shouldn’t have taken more than 3 days. They told me “the lab is backed up”. My second and LAST time was today! This is the most unprofessional doctor’s office I have ever been to. I checked into my appt at 2:05 P.M. I was the very first patient in the office. More people came in after.. By the time 2:45 P.M came I noticed that 4 people were called before me and no one had acknowledged me. I went to the desk and asked what was taking so long and why are other people being called ahead of me. The lady at the front desk said “oh you’ll be next”. I don’t want to be rude even though I was frustrated I just said ok. At 3:18 P.M they had called 2 more people and I went to the desk and said please cancel my appointment this is ridiculous and very insulting. She looked up and said “ok” very nonchalantly. No apology for the wait, no explanation or anything. AN HOUR and 13 minutes! Like are you even serious right now? I could’ve cursed everybody in there out for wasting my time and leaving work early to make this appt that I never got to be seen at! For a very serious issue too. This will be my last time ever and after reading the other reviews, I see that this is very common."

"Literally one of the most unprofessional and unorganized places I’ve been to. I had my appointment booked over a month and they call me 2 hours before to cancel since my doctor was going on vacation. They failed to notify me earlier and when I asked for proof they said they left a voicemail to me and my emergency contact. Neither myself or my emergency contact had received the voicemail they claim to have left and they failed to provide proof when I asked. They said that I could come in and see another doctor and my doctor would follow up with me when she returns but I’d have to pay twice for both visits. Which I shouldn’t have to since this was an error on their end. When I said I wanted to talk to the office manger they said that she was busy and would reach out to me. It’s been over a week and neither the office manager or anyone from their office has bothered to call back to discuss this. This office is one of the most inconvenient places, if you have options please do not come here. I will add that Dr. Roy is absolutely amazing and she knows what she is doing, her bedside manner is great. I would recommend you see her at another location that actually knows how to manage and take care of their patients."

"Loved my doctor and the ultrasound technician was very friendly. But the front desk lady was super rude. While waiting for the doctor longer than I was supposed to wait, I asked what time she was coming. The front desk lady replied rudely if I needed to reschedule the appointment I could. No thank you! I didn’t come to my appointment and waited for so long only to reschedule the appointment and come back another time to go through the same! You should be more attentive to the patients and explain the wait times, procedure and everything. Also, when I left my urine sample in the bathroom, there were still 2 more urine samples left in the window from 2 previous patients with their information on it, and clearly they have been standing there for quite some time!"

"Came in a little nervous to my appointment and Dr. Jenkins made me feel very comfortable and at ease with him. I did not feel rushed as he took the time to listen to my concerns and provided feedback in a professional manner. The wait was not too long or short and the staff was all very helpful, nice and welcoming! I am glad I found his practice."
