"This place is just horrible. Terrible, confusing communication or straight up nonexistent.They barely answer calls or texts and at the time of writing this have no email for patients to reply to which is just so unprofessional and should have been the first red flag. The receptionists are unhelpful and unresponsive and just give canned answers if they give any at all. They try to insist that you agree to unnecessary appointments as a money grab and have no sense of customer service. Dr. Sylvia was nice when I talked to her during a virtual appointment, but the carelessness of her staff is ridiculous. When expressing all of these issues to them, I was basically ignored through text and then blamed for their lack of professionalism and organization when I finally got their administrative assistant on the phone. Now they won’t even respond to my request to send my medical records to me or my doctor which is the last straw and seemingly a straight up a board violation…AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Another HUGE RED flag is that the majority of the good reviews are people who worked/interned at this medical office and not even patients!"

"I Love all the Dr's and students here! Everyone is so nice and professional. I always get to express myself and I feel safe and understood. If the medication needs a prior authorization they take care of it immediately. So I definitely suggest you see any of the Dr's and practitioners here at Mercie Health. You will be happy you did."

"I was introduced to Mercie Health to complete my clinical rotation as a prospective Psych Nurse Practitioner. Dr Sylvia is excellent in her profession; I have learned so much over my time here. Her interaction with her patients, staff, and students is phenomenal. She provides every opportunity for her students to succeed; you will get the whole experience of learning from her. Her office staff is very professional; they do great in the front office and behind the scenes to ensure patient encounters run smoothly. If given the opportunity, I would refer others to Dr Sylvia for their mental health needs and the chance to be in a learning environment for upcoming student Nurse Practitioners. Disheba"

"Great place for your mental health visits as patients are well taken care of. Good place if you are needing a place for psychiatric clinical rotations. My best clinical rotation so far because Dr. Sylvia knows her stuff and is willing to teach and guide with hands on experience."

"ABSOLUTE worst place! My 14 year old daughter started coming here earlier this year for medication management. Billing is a joke with them and we have insurance. They charged us months later for something back in July, were in September. Like they are legit doing some shady stuff. We just spoke to our insurance company and they are billing incorrectly. Another thing is that the person seeing my daughter prescribed a medication for her to sleep along with her usual depression medication without consulting me "the parent" first. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT BRING YOUR TEEN HERE IF THEY ARE STRUGGLING. They just want to drug your kids up and get money. It's not genuine help and complete lack of communication."
