Pediatric Dental Safari

"My 13 year old’s braces experience has been amazing at Pediatric Dental Safari. We have had 0 issues and although I was initially a little concerned about doing it through the dentist’s office, I shouldn’t have been. Also makes it convenient when you can combine all the kids’ dentist appointments with the braces appointments!!"

"3.5 star for friendly staff and dentist. They have always been very kind and courteous. There is usually a wait of at least 20 min (however, we have waited upwards to an hour before). I would not recommend their ortho program if you are on a budget. After their free consultation and the estimate were provided, we moved forward with a more economically friendly Ortho that provided more services for 15-20% less than what Safari would charge."

"My kids have been going to pediatric dental safari for years. This year my son needed braces and we received an estimate or “Fee” for his services. When starting the orthodontics work they stated the consult exam and imaging were complementary. Unfortunately, they informed my wife that the monetary contributions from my insurance were limited due to the time period of the treatment. I called my insurance and they informed me that was not the case, which made me suspicious as well as the explanation of their billing practices on their forms stating not all codes are run through insurance. I called in hoping to understand what they were doing from the billing perspective and, the practice manager, rather than explain their billing system effectively suggested I go to another office for treatment. I then offered to pay my end for whatever work they had started and she no need since it was early they would delete the chart and we could go our separate ways. Well, they filed on my insurance anyway to which I now have to file an appeal to get them to remove the claim. The only benefit is I got to see a preliminary EOB. They filed a claim for almost twice the estimate or fee they proposed on their work up form. Also they filed a claim for the consult exam and imaging that were supposedly complementary. My recommendation is if your kid needs orthodontics work take the advice of the office manager and go somewhere else. The only reason for two stars is that the office manager was polite and willing to let us go without any issues. I will say that the Dentist was excellent, but the office management staff is not worth the trouble."

"We had a great experience with Dr. Damani and Hygienist Ashley. They were punctual, provided excellent care during my daughter’s filling and sealing procedure, and finished the process in time. Grateful for their attentive service. Highly recommend!"

"Just started going to Dental Safari with my two children. One 7 year old and one 2 year old. They have been great with them at every visit. They explain everything they’re doing for the kids to put them at ease. I would recommend taking your kiddos here if you’re looking for a dentist."
