"This guy who says he’s a doctor is a real piece of work. Stay as far away from him as possible. He will steal your money and inject you with fake product. BEWARE!!"
"Terrible service by Jennifer. Left on hold for 15 minutes, then i call again and puts me on hold again before i finished talking. Rude and unprofessional. Regarding Dr Gohestani, as an existing client, he provided good service and is knowledgable but unfortunately his treatment was not successful. Overall i will definitely be looking elsewhere."
"I have been seeing Dr. Ghohestani for several years, also referred many of my family members to him. He is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate, I highly recommend him."
"I waited in the waiting room for an HOUR AND A HALF just for me to explain what my issues were and hear Dr. Ghohestani criticize my previous dermatologist for things he felt should've gone differently. I was only seen by the doctor for less than 10 minutes after the hour and a half wait to be sent on my way and have lab tests mailed to me. The assistants claimed the reason for him being late was because of "unexpected surgeries", but also they said they don't do any bloodwork in the office... Interesting. This complete waste of time could have easily been a short, virtual experience."
"I have no doubt Dr. Ghohestani is a knowledgeable man, however I feel all he wants is to make as much money as possible out of his clients. I went in for a consultation for the Miradry procedure which was quoted to me $600-$900. I thought this was great since everywhere else charges much more than that. I set my appointment two weeks in advance, filled out paperwork, and they told me they would get back to me with how much the appointment would be after consulting my insurance. They never got back to me about that, so I messaged the day before my appointment to find out. I get a text message saying if I don't cancel my appointment at least 48hrs in advance, I will be charged $45. OK, so if I decide the payment is too much and have to cancel, I still have to pay the $45. Well, finally they got back to me with the payment, an egregious amount for a consultation, but I thought it would be worth it for this doctor. I get to my appointment and the first thing Dr.G says is that miradry is useless and pointed to another machine he has in the office that I should use instead. If it's useless, why do you offer it? I've read hundreds of positive patient reviews about miradry, but Dr. G insisted not to do it and to use this other (VERY expensive) machine in conjunction with botox injections. He asked if I have thyroid issues (due to the wavelengths of the machine) and I said no, but my mom does. He asked if I've ever had a blood test for thyroid antibodies and I said no. He then asked if I have any anxiety issues to which I said only sometimes and it's minor. He then immediately tried to prescribe me an oral medication that would help my antibodies and "make me a little happier." I told him no I don't want any medications, which he understood. He then stepped out to get more information on pricing for me for this new machine and botox injections. His assistant came back in telling me the very steep prices and asked which procedure I'd like to do. I said I would prefer to do some research on this machine before I do anything. Then she tells me she is setting up blood work for me to get an antibody count on my thyroid and asks what day would be best for me, to which I said no, I don't a blood test. She told me it was for my "overall well being", but I told her I'd prefer to talk to my doctor before I do anything. I left irritated with all the things they tried to push on me. Well, fast forward a week and I get a call from my regular doctor asking if I had already had my derm appointment and I said yes I already did. She asked if they told me Dr. G was not in network for me and I said no they didn't mention it to which she replied that they should've told me that and shouldn't have paid out of pocket. Not only that, but my pharmacy called telling me that my "medication was ready for pickup." I told them I didn't have any meds to pick up. Apparently, Dr. G took it upon himself to prescribe me a topical gel, which in the appointment I specifically told him I did not want because I have sensitive skin. All in all, I very much felt this doctor just wants to squeeze every penny out of you and was pushy with medications and procedures. I will not be back and I do not recommend."
