"Momentum Physical Therapy was referred to me by my doctor after insurance denied getting a MRI. I initially went to the clinic where they said I had pulled a muscle, and they gave me muscle relaxers. After no improvement, friends suggested I go to a chiropractor. After 4 visits with the chiropractor, still minimal results. Next, I went to my regular doctor who gave me a steroid pack which alleviated the stiffness, but I was still in pain and could barely use my right arm. By this time, I had been in pain for almost 3 months with no relief. After my first visit with Momentum, I felt some slight relief, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. I was scheduled for 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks. They great part was they offered 2 late nights, so I didn't have to miss any work. Not only did I pull a muscle, but I had nerve damage in my right arm. After each session, I continued to notice improvement. The therapists were amazing! Due to my work schedule, I had different physical therapists, but they kept in contact with with one another. I can't say how much I enjoyed working with the physical therapists. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant environment. Thank you so much LaTonya, Julia, JJ, and Zane for getting me back to normal. If this ever happens again, I'm headed back to Momentum."
"After many years of heavy weight training and various martial arts I had developed a multitude of musculoskeletal issues. Thanks to the team in Helotes I can squat and overhead press pain free and soon I’ll be back in bjj. I highly recommend giving these guys a shot."
"I love this place they did great work with my chronic back pain. I was there this October I met with Andrew that did my evaluation and started my workouts. He observed me every time I was there to make sure I was doing the exercises correctly. The staff was very warm and friendly. They treat you with respect and kindness. I can not Thank them and Andrew enough for getting me back on my feet. Mary Anderson"
"Went in with back pain and immediately asked about the cost to be seen. I was informed that it would only be a co-pay expected at each visit, just like any dr visit. After being seen for 6 weeks and paying the co-pay, I completed my time needed. Most visits consisted of a therapist sticking me on a machine or showing me an exercise that I could have done at home or on my own, but I figured I should continue just to make sure I wasn't further aggravating my lumbar and didn't cause issues that would keep me from work. Soon after, I found out I was pregnant and high-risk so I was forced to leave my full-time job. 6 months into my pregnancy I got a bill for several hundred dollars!! I called to question the bill and I was informed that Momentum was not in my network until half way through my treatment. So, somehow they became IN network at the end of my 6 weeks of visits. I'm furious. I have a baby on the way, no job at the moment and a very high and unexpected medical bill. All because they did not actually assist with giving me the best information and double checking my insurance, like any other office would if asked. I don't know when or how I will be able to pay this and of course now it is not their concern. If you want misinformation and sub par treatment, go here and pay an unexpected small fortune."
"The staff is very cordial and professional, always prompt, and very good at explaining therapy exercises. Office staff is efficient and helpful; very reliable at handling insurance, personal information, and giving reminder calls the day before. The facility is a good small size and very clean. I noted that the staff keeps all the tables and equipment sanitized. Someone is always looking out for you and paying attention to your timed exercises, guiding you to the next phase. They are always on time and respectful of your time. Good location with ample parking, next door to CVS, gas station & Dairy Queen."
