"Some people do not belong in health care, the female named Chris who checked me in is the prime example. I’ve never been made so uncomfortable with healthcare as Chris made me feel, I came for healthcare and not to be talked down to or ignored when explaining symptoms. I told Chris I was leaving because she made me uncomfortable and she laughed when I walked out, hopefully I won’t be charged for the visit but if so I’ll have to dispute it."
"I wish I had read the reviews. The same experience every comment discussed was mine as well. Gabriella Ugwu was cold, asked FOUR questions the entire visit, and just stared at her computer clicking. She wont make eye contact when she speaks to you. She also got short with me after claiming I gave her the wrong number to my pharmacy. When I showed her the website displaying the number I gave, she apologized dryly and continued clicking. Why hasn’t CVS responded to these awful experiences? How is she still sending people home feeling like they made up their symptoms? I’ve been sick for a week and while my Covid and strep were negative, she didn’t give me a diagnosis at all. Just sent me home with a cough suppressant. Why did I come here…"
"I was really worried coming today because i saw everyone else’s reviews about “Gabby”, especially because i came in without an appointment. Luckily the NP wasn’t gabby The NP, Ms. Desai, was outside the office and asked if I had one, i told her no, and she took me in anyways because I was the only one. super kind, listened to my symptoms/questions and was really professional. highly recommend if you get Ms. Desai"
"DO NOT COME TO THIS MINUTE CLINIC. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!! NP GABRIELLA WILL TREAT YOU LESS THAN HUMAN! If I could leave zero stars, I would. A 1 star rating cannot begin to describe the experience I had here. (My visit was on November 30th, 2023) First off, Minute Clinic means having to sit and wait for 2 hours. Second, the NP Gabriella has the absolute worst attitude. She was huffing and scoffing as I was trying to list my symptoms and I felt too intimidated to even continue, because with each symptom I listed, she rolled her eyes. I was tested for Covid, Strep, and Flu and was told they were all negative. The symptoms I had felt like strep throat but she told me it was “just allergies” and probably only prescribed me an antibiotic to shut me up. When she looked at my throat and ears (because I said I felt like I might have an ear infection on top of it), she rolled her eyes at me and did not give me any feedback when she looked with the light. I left her office bawling in tears. My significant other took me to the clinic and he was the only person who gave me any sense of comfort as he was there with me to watch the interaction, telling me she “was very cold, rude, and didn’t seem to care about her job”. This was the first time I’ve ever been seen at any kind of clinic and left feeling ashamed that I even showed up to receive care, feeling as though they shamed me for coming for “not really being sick” and its “just allergies”. I did start to feel a little bit better for about 2 weeks, but started feeling all the same symptoms again a few days ago. On December 17th I went to a different urgent care facility in Boerne where I was seen and treated right. They said I had tested positive for an aggressive case of strep throat and gave me a much stronger antibiotic. I explained to the NP there that I was told I negative 2 1/2 weeks ago, but she said that I was certainly positive back then for it to have gotten this bad. Honestly I think that NP Gabriella should not be working here if this is the care she provides. I’ve seen several negative reviews from the past year about her attitude and bedside manner. I wish I had read these reviews before coming here. I will never come back to this clinic and I will never recommend this place to anyone."
"NP gabby has been so rude both times I have seen her. She talks very quietly and gets short with you if don’t provide a detailed list of your symptoms to begin with because heaven forbid she has to go back and add another to your chart. I thought it was the physicians job to ask questions to get more information on what you’re experiencing ? I had a positive Covid test and she claimed I wasn’t sick and didn’t provide me with an inhaler refill or paxlovid. It’s really sad the way she acts towards patients considering they’re sick. Considering all the other negative reviews, you would think CVS would address this. I wasted $35."
