"This place just gets worse and worse. Nothing on the shelves, boxes everywhere, and dirty. Most of the employees are rude and clearly could care less about even doing the bare minimum. They’re randomly closed at all hours of the day. Not even worth going for the convenience anymore. It’s not quick, easy, or pleasant shopping here. There is not a single positive recent review. It’s getting sad they even allow this store to represent the brand. Update: things have improved slightly, but they clearly need more workers in there. It’s honestly seems to be a dollar general issue not allowing enough employees to work to get the work that needs done completed. The few employees left are more pleasant, but obviously annoyed as I probably would be too if put in this situation. Still not sure what the hours are because the posted hours are not followed. Second update: things are definitely improving under the new store employees, the seem to be open when they’re supposed to be and most shelves are stocked. The remaining issues can’t be resolved on an individual store level. Dollar general corporate needs to get it together. Third update: there is also a clear training issue. Employees don’t know how to fully use the registers. Not even the managers. I saw the manager tell someone they had no way of providing a receipt after the printer jammed and didn’t print the original. She was under the impression electronic machines that only accept electronic payments don’t keep a log of transactions? That’s insane."

"The store is constantly closed and in the middle of the day. No sign outside warning customers of the closure. I stopped there today for a couple items I needed and they are on my way home. I walked up to the doors. They were locked. I saw the manager and she saw me. I asked if they were going to open soon she just looked at me and said nothing and continued to walk through the store. Poorly ran place with an exception of some I believe are overworked employees. New management is needed to bring the store back to par and professionally run better."

"Worst store in the area and it’s not even close, the last 4 times I’ve come here it has been closed . 3pm…… lights on….. constantly boxes in the aisles , filthy floors. Can’t remember the last time I’ve been in there without the person at the register being on their phone while checking out……. Wild"

"This store is close to home, convenient, and I can get items I need quickly without going to a larger store. Lately, more things have been out of stock, but my big concern is some of the employees seem in no hurry to get to their registers while people are waiting. I have seen a line of 10 people and still only one register open. I will shop here again due to the convenience, the prices are mostly fair, but will be careful what I buy. I lowered my rating from 4 to 2 stars because over Tha last year, they did a lot of construction and rearranging in the store. They installed freezers along an entire wall and a half. If the freezers were stocked, it would be a good thing, but they have been mostly empty since they put them in. Also, I used to know the entire layout and could easily find what I needed. The new arrangement makes absolutely no sense and I often get frustrated when I can't find what I need and I go somewhere else. Please fix these issues and I'll raise my rating! I run in here a few times a week due its convenience to my home, but I may have to find another store. Thanks"
