Dollar General

"This place has a weird cold vibe. I don't need friendly but they're kind of zombies probably miserable or something they just keep staring at you like you're gonna steal they don't speak to you. I don't care if you had good prices I would not care one bit but I don't understand the business model here there's no good prices here honestly anybody who's savvy and as a keen eye for pricing knows that there's no good deals here... In fact several like items are more expensive than you can find that the common big box stores. The more I think about it I think they're hoping you fall into one of their several high-margin items when you go in there to pick up something cheap but there's really nothing cheap I mean there's this 1 Isle with dollar item stuff but Dollar Tree yes it is a $1.25 now but it's organized and way bigger selection so they've got 1 Isle here of dollar items and basically it's junk. I travel regionally and sales so I'm in and out of stores all day and I'm always buying stuff ... I'm telling you I couldn't find one good deal here. Plus like I said you feel like you're at some kind of prison commissary or something. It's like they're shaming you in to feel like you did something wrong by walking in there. Lol.... I guess I kind of caught myself on that 1 because in a way they are right if they feel this way. Bottom line the place is awful go somewhere else."

"I have been g to this store for many years. They have had several Managers who were kind and helpful. I was just in there yesterday and the Manager seemed to be inconvenienced when I asked her if she would find out if they had an item come in. She had every excuse why she couldn't help along with not so nice body language to let me know I was putting her out. I asked her name and she refused to tell me. She also told me I could & not come back since I let her know how she was treating a customer. She proceeded to call another employee to check me out since she was not on the register. Fortunately I got help checking out from a nice young lady and she also lete know the Managers name when I asked, it is Jessica. On my way out, I heard Jessica tell the nice girl who checked me out that she should never give out the Manager's name. Very rude, Jessica is. I liked the gentleman who was the previous Manager, too bad he wasn't there. I used to like how helpful he was no matter what he was doing."

"This is one of the Dollar General stores, which has the most assortment of products. Toys, food, accessories, makeup, cleaning products, many products and many options, their self-payment register is an excellent idea since it speeds up the service too much, everything is very clean and tidy, although I realized that some products are a bit expensive , but without a doubt 5 stars for this store"

"I don't normally shop this type of store but I was killing some time and on the prowl for some containers in which to put laundry powders. I cruised the aisles to see what they had. I found storage bins and containers in several places as each type related to other things around them. So they were not gathered all in one place. So every time I came into a new aisle, I'd find something else to see. I glanced at other products as well. For instance, I found greeting cards to be very inexpensive. The containers were not pricey either."

"They had creamer that was expired for sale and the garbage bag's didn't ring up the sale price. They said oh sorry the computer doesn't come with the sale price. He had to do it manually. They also had this thing in clarence and they said oh that isn't suppose to be there. So that mean if people aren't paying attention they pay full price for the stuff. They were like ripping off the customer's. Never going back here again."
