"This place is horrible. Manager was rude & the food is trash. Definitely not authentic. Been going here for awhile for the drinks, but this place just gets worse, with food & service. Wish I could put negative stars."

"If you have received coupons in the mail from this restaurant that say’ “Buy one dinner or lunch entree & get the other free” As this is not true. In the fine print, it states, “With the purchase of two drinks or more up to nine dollar value. What this means is that you will receive a $9 discount off your total price. THERE IS NO BUY ONE GET ONE FREE LUNCH OR DINNER ENTREES"

"Mad props to the managers of this Pepe's. They deserve a restaurant award for getting everything right. And out of all the Pepe's in the Chicago area, this one is truly the best. Service, food, atmosphere, everything is spot on for a neighborhood restaurant of this size. My advice for them would be to lose the parking right next to the outdoor seating so they could make it bigger. Plant a garden or something to create a buffer. No one wants to eat next to an idling car. They can still have the handicap parking close by and with ample parking across the road, it only makes sense to have a more active outdoor space. I am a little bummed that the menu was pared down when the pandemic started, but there's still plenty of choices to keep me coming back. Their frequent specials in their to-go only deals and day-of-the-week specials keeps this restaurant lively and interesting."

"My husband and I go every Friday when possible for the Buffet. Simply love the food, the atmosphere and the 2 young men that runs the place are fantastic. There service is Outstanding!"

"This location has been here since 1967 that says a lot there. We had a very nice dinner and my wife had a small fish bowl margarita it was huge. Service was great food tasting very good. I would recommend this location to anyone. I plan to return again. Thank you"
