"The atmosphere and decor is above average, and a great date night place. Unfortunately the food was very average Mexican food for a premium price. Service was good, and menu had a good variety. I would not seek it out, nor do I plan to dine that again because of the other better options in the area."

"Opened for only a few months,this location will do very well. Plenty of parking in a very busy area. Guzman y Gomez was founded in Sydney Australia focusing on fresh authentic flavors of Mexico . I tried the Cali Burrito. Fries in the burrito replacing rice? Loaded with grilled chicken,sour cream and fresh guacamole,this burrito had lots of flavor. Add some cilantro ,Spanish onions ,pickled jalapenos and one of the three salsas offered in their salsa station and the flavors explode! My wife is Gluten free so she had their burrito bowl with brown rice,pork carnitas,jack cheese,black beans,and fresh pico de Gallo and salsa to top it off. They serve a variety of beverages including Mexican sodas and beers. If you want to try fresh authentic Mexican dishes in a relaxed atmosphere,give Guzman y Gomez a try. Open 7am-,10 pm. I can't wait to go back and try one of their breakfast items!"

"Nice Mexican concept. Good service. I had the Steak Cali Burrito. Like a Regular Mexican burrito with french fries in it. Nice salsa choices. The steak was a little bit tough and not as much seasoning. Pricing very reasonable and they offer beer and margaritas also Overall, a nice addition to the Buffalo grove area."

"Fantastic. So many Mexican chains leave out the line and acids from their food to suit the American palate. I LOVE that it's included in the food here. It makes a huge difference. There's cilantro, onion, and pickled jalapenos for the taking which is a huge thing. Cali burrito was great. Perfect size, great flavors. Pricing is great. Family of 5 for about 60 bucks. Very easily could have been more. Three table touches in our time at the table made it an enjoyable seating. That's unheard of for what I'd consider a fast-casual restaurant. Either the main manager or owner (didn't catch his name) personally did a table touch too. Interacted with our kids and that was great, too. We will DEFINITELY be back."

"This pace just opened in Buffalo Grove and we made a stop. Loved the environment and service. Very quick, a lot of people cleaning, cooking, serving, maybe because it is still brand new. We ordered regular grilled chicken burrito and pulled brisket bowl. I felt the portions were smaller than Chipotle but we felt ingredients were a bit better(chicken was softer and tastier).
