"My brother lives across the street from this place and last time I visited him I got the chicken teriyaki and it was one of the best I’ve had and at a good price for the amount of food you get. I was so excited to get it again that we got take out the first night I was here. They increased the price by $5, which I would’ve been fine with considering how much food I got last time. Unfortunately we were incredibly disappointed. Not only did they increase the price by 25%, but the portion size is probably 75% smaller than it use to be and it wasn’t nearly as good. It was not even a full piece of chicken, they filled the container with cheap vegetables and the chicken wasn’t even in the sauce, you had to pour it on yourself. I never eat my full meal, but there was so little chicken that I ate it all and I was still hungry after. You can look back in the photos to see what the chicken teriyaki use to look like compared to now. Extremely disappointing that they changed this meal when it was so good, even if there are new owners. They made it much worse AND increased the price by $5."

"Went here yesterday before a play. The hostess and server were really nice. The food was delicious and average price. Get the matcha cake!! Only critique is the Age Tofu appetizer wasn’t that great. I feel like it should’ve been seasoned a little and cut into smaller pieces before frying."

"Visited Chicago for the first time with the boyfriend. He bragged about this gem he found during his last visit. This cozy restaurant did not disappoint - it had left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide selections. We weren’t super hungry but managed to finish every single dish we ordered simply because they were all delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone! This will definitely be my must-go-to place when I visit Chicago!"
