"If your looking just to get way and relax or go explore Jacksonville or Springfield you can get there in 40 minutes. The wifi isn’t strong enough to reach back to where we were but that was okay, I guess we didn’t need to watch tv anyways. You can still here some cars because of the highway but it wasn’t like really crazy. The part is a decent size if you don’t want to hear traffic go further in the back. Terry the owner she is super nice and friendly you would want to come back just for that alone. The wifi isn’t so strong but i guess we didn’t need to watch TV. If you don’t want to hear the traffic I suggest getting a spot in the back. The part is a decent size we really didn’t hear it until the morning so by that time it getting up and getting ready to go and explore. You can hit Springfield in bout 40 mins or downtown Jacksonville in 15."

"This is a nice country campground. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean showers, well-kept grounds, lots of stuff for kids. 15 minutes from Jacksonville."

"We stopped for 1 night and were greeted by the very helpful and friendly owner. Nice quiet place. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet but still close enough for easy access. I did get to see the swans from a distance but didn't want to get too close and disturb them. Especially with our dog. Pretty sure mama and daddy wouldn't appreciate a youthful German Shepherd LOL"

"This place is absolutely fantastic! Our son was staying there long term for work, so we stopped in for a visit. Such an easy check in process and the woman running it was very friendly and helpful! The grounds are beautifully kept, the laundry room was very clean, and the area is very nice. We would highly recommend it!"

"What a well-maintained RV Campground just off US-Hwy 67 near Jacksonville IL! We had a lovely quiet spot in the back right on a little farmed pond stocked with fish with a couple swans swimming on it! At night I opened up my windows and listened to the chorus of frogs. There are also cabins to rent and several nice trails they keep nicely mowed around the ponds and back into the woods surrounding the campground. Loved our stay!"
