Super JJ Fish & Chicken

"Picked up an order at 6:50pm asked if the 40 wings could be ready around 6:30pm. Store owner called me and said the order was ready at 6:15pm and he had 50 orders ahead of me. So with that being said the food should be fresh. Got home with my food and the wings were completely cold each wing filled with blood and completely stale. Called and spoke with the owner and he was very rude saying the wings were fresh and hung up on me. Never once did I get rude or disrespectful but he was very unprofessional. He told me he doesn’t guarantee satisfaction. What a great way to run a business. If I were you I wouldn’t order here because obviously they can’t handle large orders or unhappy customers. Trying to support businesses during this pandemic and this is the thanks I get. Horrible service.."

"First off I would like to say this is JJ Fish Need to change the name. I completely wasted my money. This was my first time ordering from this place on 06/13/20. I should have looked at the reviews. I just don’t know how you can go wrong with Chicken wings. This chicken look like it was old it tasted funny it had a lot of dark spots on the chicken that should not be. It tasted like it was fried in old grease. I ordered 100 wings and none of my guests touched the chicken except the kids. You would have thought people would eat the chicken up quick that’s always the first thing to go. The kids took one piece and they even said it wasn’t good. I don’t know what type of chicken you all are selling, but it’s all bad. Service like this needs to change. I have a whole pan of chicken that I want you all to take back make me another pan or give me my money back this is the worst chicken ever. I only gave you all one star because there wasn’t a Selection for zero stars. In response to the owner who had the nerve to reply sarcastically I can bring you this whole pan, My guest brought this to my attention you all were closed. I didn’t pick the chicken up and get a chance to look at it, I had my daughter do it. I didn’t think to look at the chicken when she brought it home because I was too busy setting up. I am 60 years old with health conditions and I have to rest after a long day. I will send you the picture from today 06/14/20."

"***213 S. Larkin Ave. in Joliet, Illinois*** If I could I wouldn't give NO STAR!!! Got home and I swear this chicken disgusted me. Not only is this business taking folks money but they're putting people at risk to food poison that could lead to more serious issues!!! You don't do people like this. The chicken looked like it sat out overnight and was refried/recooked..definitely unacceptable!!! I called and the same guy who had just taken my order answered the phone and as I tried to explain to him that this chicken was old, he insisted that the chicken was fresh. But clearly you can see from the pictures I took of the chicken, it is days old & should not be sold!!! I asked for a refund and he said no therefore this was my next best thing, to leave a review. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!"

"If I could give this no stars I would! We are new to the area and my family had a taste for chicken wings. We were excited to find a J&J in the area. I placed an order for 25 wings with mild sauce and was told it would be $3 extra for mild sauce (shocked). I said okay no problem. My husband brings the wings home and we were mortified at how they looked! They were not fresh at all! The wings were hard, old, looked, and taste HORRIBLE!! My husband called the manager to let him know about how bad our wings were and he said: "Don't give me any s@#!%!" We could not be more shocked and dismayed at the horrible food and customer service! Please do not go here!!"

"Ordered wings to go. The worst wings ever. All the meat was black inside and not edible and the wings were very small. Called them and was giving some sorry excuse about its from the blood and bring it back in and they will remake it. No thanks!! I don't want nothing else from you! Stay away from the wings please!!"
