"I went with my significant other for an early Valentine’s Day celebration and had a wonderful time at the Shanty. The food was delicious. For drinks, we ordered the hurricane and it had the perfect amount of alcohol. The ambiance was nice. The seating arrangement was great because we weren’t too close to other tables and I did not feel claustrophobic. The service was phenomenal. Our food was served quick. Our waitress, Erin, was very attentive and she did not make us feel rushed to order. Our water was refilled without us asking. The price for everything we ordered was reasonable. I would certainly come back again."

We haven't been here in a while but nothing has changed still probably the best restaurant in Northern Illinois!
