Paul's Burrito Express

"Fantastic taco! Tongue was tender and the perfect amount. Ingredients in the burrito was nicely distributed. Rice and beans were average, could do without. Minus one star for the tamale. SO SO DRY. Literally the worst tamale I had in my life. Pork is tasteless, if any. My guess is that the tamale was made way in advance, and so now that it’s old and dry, reheating it made it even drier."

"The burrito that I ordered was slightly decomposed. I think rolling it firmer would improve the experience. It tasted ok, service was polite, prices were great. Will revisit again."

The tacos and burritos are as good as any I've ever had, including from New Mexico and Arizona. Highly recommended!!! Next time I'll post food, it was so good I ate it before I realized no picture."

"On my lunch break for work, I wanted to get some food for my coworker on myself. I stopped by a small restaurant in the heart of Barrington called Paul's Burrito Express. I'm gonna start with the positives of the restaurant, the biggest is the portion of food. It's a good bang for your buck. The customer service is good as well. The horchata was the best thing I ordered without a doubt. What could be improved-at least from my experience- the chimichangas was ok, the food was mislabeled... We each got a chimichanga, however the meat was different. The chimichanga I ordered was ground beef, however I ended up biting into the chicken. I am not crazy about rotisserie chicken so I can't say it was amazingly good. It was juicy which was nice. The torta that was ordered was also rotisserie chicken. The guacamole tasted a little off as did the salsa. It wasn't very spicy either. The Google menu is mostly accurate, however the chimichanga is a dollar more expensive. I may return some time in the future, but I will decide to wait a bit for that day."
