"My wife and I are HUGE sushi fans. We've gone to many other sushi places that have the conveyor belt and we love them. They're incredibly fun. This was our 1st time at Sooshibay. I believe it recently opened within the last year. We showed up on a Friday and had a short wait and were able to be seated. There definitely could be more parking outside but we were able to find a parking spot. The hostess was very friendly. The atmosphere was energetic and fun. As soon as we were seated we began to grab away at the food belt. The plates are colored and have a price list. You can also order from a menu as well. They have seats by the food belts and seats away from the belt at a normal table. We tried many different sushi rolls and were not disappointed. We ordered calamari as well. The calamari was not the best that I've had. It was not terrible and I had no problem finishing it. I ordered an old fashioned that was very well made. We ate away until we were able to eat no more. We decided to top it off with dessert, a slice of cheesecake. The one negative experience of the night. The slice of cheese cake was nearly frozen solid. I stuck my fork in it as youll see in my photos, and there was barely any penetration. I don't blame our waiter. I also was not under the illusion that the cheese cake was fresh made. I would have liked someone in the kitchen to have let it thaw out though. Even with that hiccup I'd still return. The waiter did remove the item from our check. I did think maybe a comp or credit would have been appreciated a bit more. All in all it was still a positive experience and fun dinner. It wasn't cheap but it also didn't break the bank."

"This was my first time eating at a sushi belt restaurant and it was a really fun experience. I loved watching all the different sushi going by and reading the cards about what was in them. I also liked the way they did the pricing by only charging you for the sushi you pick. If sushi isn't your thing they also had aenu with a wide variety of other offerings as well which is nice as I know some of my family isn't big sushi fans, but they'd still find something they like here. The wait staff was kind, knowledgeable and checked in on us regularly. The atmosphere was really nice as well! I very highly recommend!"

"The sushi from the conveyor was sooo good. There were many options to choose from and I was satisfied with most rolls. I was not a big fan of the soft shell crab appetizer from the menu given once seated. I would highly recommend visiting and I'll be going again soon."

"Ramen broth lacked that deep, rich flavor that I'm used too. The pork cut was also too lean, but still had flavor, if slightly chewy. Sushi was great, lots of variety, and combinations I haven't seen elsewhere. Very impressive. Good service. One of the speakers had a very nasty high pitch tone that was hard to ignore. Please fix."

"We absolutely love this place!! We come at least twice, sometimes three times a week. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious and the service is friendly and fast. Try the ramen selections too. You'll thoroughly enjoy your dining experience."
