"We attended an event here and the service was great, the servers were friendly and attentive. It’s all open space seating so there isn’t much privacy for hosting an event here but they have a great atmosphere! The appetizers were delicious and we really enjoyed the bruschetta and meatballs. The only negative was the pizza, the flavors were good but the crust was very thin and flimsy and didn’t hold up well to the ingredients on top which was unexpected for being wood fired."
"Not a bad place...we had the 1/2 pizza and salad lunch special. Flavors were good, but the pizza crust was a tad bit under done . It wasn't horrible but could've used a few more minutes in the oven. Caesar salad was decent, plain, but decent. Priced right. We'll try it again. I was a little disappointed because when you walk in, they have a handwritten board talking about wing specials and flavors. So we decided to get wings, only to find out that the wings are for happy hour, and were there for lunch. Should remove the board if it doesn't apply."
"The atmosphere is incredible. Huge. Roomy. Possibly great for corporate events and large parties. The food is awesome. If one looks thru our reviews we live in italy 3-6 months of the year…. We had chicken parm and the 4 cheese ravioli with vodka sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Not mushy. Not over done, but perfectly. The vodka sauce was uniquely filled with great taste and just a slight bite of spice and added flavor. Together the sauce and the raviolis had a perfect balance of flavors. The meal and the service and staff are just awesome. The only negative would be pricing in drinks… we live closer to Lake Michigan and drinks over in that direction are 25-50% less in price. The merits of the food will bring people back…. As would drink specials"
"Oakfire Pizzeria is a nice little (but with a big feel) restaurant that specializes in pizza that is wood-fired in Italian ovens. Starting off as a single shop in Lake Geneva, they since have expanded to two other locations. The ambiance is very modern and open, and I liked the clean esthetic. The chairs were incredibly heavy and I normally don't mention it, but when you move them, they will make a huge noise on the flooring. The food is right on par with a wood-fired pizza place. Good chewey crust and the right amount of cheese to toppings ratio. Good sizes on the pizza and very shareable. I especially enjoyed the mushroom veggie... very tasty with the caramelized onions. Salads were serviceable, but hard to get a hold of in the oblong bowls and pieces kept falling out on the table. The cheese curds were interesting cubes deep fried in two different breading and not what I would expect from Wisconsin cheese curds. Not bad... just different, and I did enjoy the marinara dipping sauce with them. Drinks were tasty and refreshing, but we wished they had more local brews on tap. Overall, we were glad this is near, and we love wood fired pizza!"
"The place is great very spacious with both dine in outdoor and indoor. The view out door is panoramic and inside it is all modern internal architecture and decoration. Their serveurs have been fabulous with keeping up with the order and smiling and sympathy. This is a really nice place to eat pizza as they have the right oven for it and it tastes good. Avoid the egg Benedict though and the pasta if you have the option."
