"It was amazing! The food was fantastic! Our server was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. My favorite thing about this restaurant was the historical atmosphere. Everything involving England!! Historical documents, newspaper clippings, pictures, even someone's lineage and generational photos.. just fantastic. I'll be back again!"

"We have not been here for about 3 years. Last time I got the Fish and Chips and it was awesome. So I ordered it it again to see if it was as good as the last time. It was!!! Thin breading/ very crispy and hot fish! French Fries crispy and hot!!! Some of the best French Fries in town! I was so thrilled to enjoy a great lunch! My husband had the Bacon Blue Cheese Mac. It was very good also. Great selection of Beers! I had the Wake Vanilla Hand of Doom a dark beer. Very Good! Husband had the Phase Three Frog Stack. It is a very tart Beer. He enjoyed it. Great place and service!! Glad we went here again after so long!! After lunch we went to the Wheels of Time Museum just down the road. Thanks for a great meal and hope to come back soon!"

"Review Date: February 13th, 2018 What does the Fox say? Arrroooooooo (in a British Accent)! What does that translate to? It’s a bit long-winded, so bear with me. *In a British accent* “Hello, savvy reader. If you love some good British food and are in the central Illinois region, The Fox is right up your alley.” “Their entire menu is British-themed and so is the pub. While the pub itself isn’t overloaded with British things, you can tell it’s got a British vibe while not being too gauche.” “The food is delectable. Exquisite.” “Mmmm, yes.” Wow, the fox had a lot to say! Do I agree with the Fox? Yes. My friends and I came here and loved every bit of it. The service was fantastic and the place felt welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Chipotle Beefeater Brisket and it was phenomenal. We sampled my friends Hummus and while I am not big on hummus, we all agreed it was great. Everyone gushed over how great their food was. Another perfect example that bar/pub food is the best food. I sadly didn’t get a ton of photos as I was focused on hanging out with my friends. I will snap a few more the next time I go. Be aware that if you do visit that they have Trivia on Thursdays nights. We tried to come here on one of those nights and it was packed and they suggested we come back another time due to it being too busy. So if you need your Bangers and Mash or Fish and Chips fix and are in the Peoria area, this is the perfect place for you."

"Awesome service! The food was refreshing change with more on menu than I expected. Nice to have somewhere that offers more than burgers and fries. The fish Bap sandwich was delicious! Fresh flaky batter and house chips were great. Even took some curbies to go!"
