"We had the best late lunch at Public House! Stephanie took SUCH good care of us! She had a beautiful smile for us every time she came to our table with yet more yummy food and fun info about the history of the jailhouse. Both the brussel sprouts and Cesar chicken salad were amazing and their potato soup is outstanding. If you're looking for charm, Woodstock square is the place to go, and, if you're looking for a great meal and a happy staff to serve it to you the The Public House should be on your list of places to eat, drink and be merry! Would definitely recommend to family and friends! TY all!"

"Just had lunch at Public House and it was fantastic. Soups are made fresh and from scratch. My sandwich was great and my husband had an awesome pear and prosciutto pizza. "It’s not what it used to be. The drink that I ordered was completely different then what I asked for even the other waitresses asked what I was drinking it was some weird gold drink suppose to be a martini. I got over that after I tried another one but a different flavor and was a little better 3/10. The waitress was really sweet and nice & the Christmas decorations were pretty cute. We tried some apps they were a little bland. The mushroom and shrimp was not what we expected for 18$ mini frozen shrimp with soggy mushrooms and a cream sauce, I didn’t care for it. The spinach dip was pretty good however it was a little oily but wasn’t bad 5/10 on apps. The dinner was okay I decided on a burger since the apps were just okay. The burger was alright the fries tasted like they were frozen. For over 100$ on a bill for 2 was a lot for me it definitely wasn’t worth it. If it was good we wouldn’t have minded paying that much if it was good. Over all was 4/10 probably won’t come back."
