"The prices have gone ridiculously high in the past year . A used Costco coat for $25, why buy used when you can buy a new one for the same price? The shoes used to be a good deal , your better off getting a new pair . It hardly seems worth it to sell to them anymore, it's not worth the time or gas money. Just find someone who needs it and pass your clothes to another mom. I will say on a positive note the customer service has improved."

"This store is way bigger than others I’ve been to. They have such a big variety of clothes and toys, I didn’t even know where to start lol. I got a new breast pump and I can’t wait to put it to use. They even had Bitty Babies!! If my daughter was older I would have snatched one up. Definitely recommend checking this location out, you’ll find whatever you’re looking for."

"Went to sell them some of my sons stuff that he outgrew and for a brand new swing (never used bc we had 2) out of box, they gave me $20 for it! If I had the box I would of just returned it to the original merchant! The swing was worth $80+!! Clothes they give you a penny up to $3, per item and tha really depends on the person. Don't recommend selling anything to them. Try to sell on marketplace or garage sales."

"Horrible customer service! Went to sell my daughter outgrown clothes /shoes & could barely get $50. Wanted to buy my Never worn shoes for $4 & my daughter wanted a stuffed animal & THAT WAS MORE than what they wanted to offer me for NEW VANS. $10 for a stuffed animal. Unbelievable . I had a better experience years ago . The people they hire nowadays just terrible"

"Every time I have visited this store the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. I haven’t had one bad experience at this location. Most recently I was in looking for an infant swing. I asked for assistance and staff member named Deb came to help. She is FABULOUS. She is the sweetest most helpful staff I have seen yet. Compare staff here to some of your elite designer stores and the staff here at Once Upon A Child Crest Hill is the clear winner every time. Thank you Deb. I hope you learn a little more about what Layaway used to be."
