"The starter chips and salsa were outstanding! Give me those and a few beers and I’m good. Ordered the carnitas plate that was also very good. The service was a little thin tonight my server was covering the whole restaurant so he was working it. If in the area, I would come back. Note there’s a charge if you are using a card."

"Foods amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. Excellent service and beautiful art. Unmatched esthetic when it comes to a restaurant of its style. Doesn't break the bank either. Very reasonable pricing; generous, even. Love the place."

"Wow the food was excellent! Service was top notch as well. The chips & salsa we couldn't stop eating. Light & crispy crunch on the chips. Salsa is not chunky but packed with flavor. The owner stopped by our table to check on us. He said they make the chips. He tried others, but this was what the customers liked best, so he went with them. Good choice! We ordered an enchilada plate that was also packed with so much flavor. We live about an hour away, but when looking for a good Mexican meal, we will make a drive to come back here!"

"12/03/2023 Our first time trying Casa Raya, we were not disappointed. We were promptly seated, chips and salsa immediately brought to the table. She took our drink order and quickly returned with them. We needed a little more time to look over the menu. She returned to take our food order within a few minutes. I decided on the Raya Fajitas. Food was on our table in about 15 minutes. Everything was as delicious as it looked. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The guacamole had the perfect balance of flavors. We are definitely fans and looking forward to trying other menu items in the near future. Our "one and only" complaint has nothing to do with the food or the service. We were almost finished with our meal when an overpowering perfume smell took over the area. It turned out someone had lit an incense up by the register. As a person with asthma, some strong smells have the potential to trigger an asthma attack. Fortunately there was not any issue. I will say this was the first time I have experienced a food establishment burning incense."
