They must work for commission so I understand they want to get paid more but charging $180+ to do a service that is free with every other insurance should be criminal."

"My car was hit and I needed to file a claim. Upon review of my policy to file the claim I noticed I had an insured driver on my policy who I did not recognize. AMAX illegally added someone to my policy without my knowledge. I have called several to times to have this resolved, the local office has not been responsive and keeps stating I need written consent to have her removed. HOW CAN I GET WRITTEN CONSENT FROM A PERSON I DO NOT KNOW! I don’t even know if she exists. Apparently I have been paying for her to be on my policy for years. I am frustrated and upset and fully intend to seek legal action if I cannot get a resolution soon. Every person I have spoke to has been disgustingly unhelpful and dismissive, I paid my policy in full and once my claim is closed I intend to switch carriers. This company is a disgrace."
