"We purchased Sears warranty and they use this place that is scamming customers and not fixing their appliances. It been since November of 2024 and we are still trying to get our dryer repaired or replaced. Now the last repair guy on February 2024 said he could not fix it, it need to be replaced but he could not put that I until Monday because it was te weekend and scheduled appointment for Monday that they did not keep"
"The tech had left zip ties and loose screws under the drip pan of my oven after a part exchange for a recall. If there wasn't another recall on the oven I never would have found the zip ties that were MELTING into my oven. No wonder there was a bad smell coming from the oven. Lazy, I wonder what else was messed up with the parts exchange. I would have done it myself the first time, but the warranty would have been voided."
"Unfortunately, the protection plan I purchased from Lowe’s for my LG dishwasher uses A&E for repairs. After two years of owning the dishwasher, it began to pop the outlet in the kitchen. However, no other appliance that is hooked up to the same breaker has this issue, only the dishwasher. First tech came out and was incredibly polite and told us it was a dishwasher issue and that he was going to submit the claim for new parts. It was approved and the following week a new tech came, he replaced the bad parts and left. Later that evening, I went to run my dishwasher and same thing happened. Submitted another claim for an appointment today. Same guy from the second visit showed and all he did was turn the dishwasher off and on a few times then said it’s a breaker issue and he can’t do anything. So he leaves, electrician comes and replaces the breaker and guess what…. SAME THING!!! I want a new tech to come out but am stuck going through Lowes claims department. They don’t have any service reports from the guy who was here today and now we are in limbo. Going on three weeks without a dishwasher. Don’t waste your time on a protection plan if they use A&E."
"Only using them because home warranty company assigned them. They automated scheduled two different appointments with an 8-5 window and then didn't show up. If you try to call for questions there is no way to talk to a person. Currently trying for third time to get them out to fix dishwasher that's been broken for over a month and they have no record of appointments that THEY scheduled. Wish there was a way to give zero stars."
"**NEVER PURCHASE ANY LG PRODUCTS. **NEVER USE A & E Appliance Repair** Both their products and their customer service are terrible. My LG refrigerator stopped working after two years, and it is a disgrace that LG does not have their own technicians. LG spent almost ten days looking for technicians in my area. They apparently found this company to come and fix my refrigerator. I got an appointment two weeks after they discovered this company. The technician initially arrived and diagnosed the problem before ordering the parts, which were then shipped to my home address. Then they scheduled a follow-up appointment three weeks after the initial visit. The technician arrived and replaced the parts, assuring that everything is in working order. I told him before he left that it didn't appear to be working, but he said we had to wait 24 hours for the compressor to kick in. Guess what? I was right. It did not work. Then they had more parts shipped to my house and scheduled me for another appointment three weeks after the second visit, which was today. They have the 8am to 5pm time slot. I took the day off from work to wait for this guy to arrive. Around noon, a guy calls and cancels the appointment, citing some lame excuse. We've been without a refrigerator for over two and a half months. This is outrageous. Is LG a real company, or are they operating from a rooftop? They should be selling something else. Worst company ever. Stay away from LG and this company which is actually Sears. Shame on them."
