"Before I bought a battery online, I called the store to see if I could get it installed. Whoever I talked to said if I got there before 7 pm, it would not be a problem. So I arrived at 5 pm. Jim told me that he was the only one there and said that it might take longer that 45 minutes to install. OK no problem. He then proceeded to tell me that they can install only about 10% of batteries. He looked under my hood and didn't know how to install it. He was going to call a mechanic and pay for it out of his own pocket. I told him I don't want him doing that, that's not right. So, here is my problem and why I gave it one star. I wish there were negative stars. Whoever I talked to should have asked what kind of vehicle I have. If they can't change the battery, they should have let me know so I don't waste my time and money. Remind you, I was very understanding through all of this. When Jim told me he couldn't do the battery, I asked for a refund. With some attitude he scanned some ticket and said order cancelled! I said what about my refund. He said I was never charged. I pulled out my phone and try to show him, but when he cancelled it, it must have reversed the charges. He basically was giving me attitude from the moment I walked in the door. If he hates his job that much, he should look for a new one and not take it out on me or anyone else. I will never be back here."

"My wife was at the store in Fox River Grove on 7/11/20 at 8:00 AM and the store clerk was extremely rude. He treated her like she didn’t belong in an auto parts store. And even though I verified the exact parts I needed were in store the clerk tried to push a more expensive part on her by telling her it was the only one that fit my vehicle. I will never shop at this store again. O’Riellys is up the street and they were much more pleasant to work with, go to them instead"
