"I have been coming to Deerfields bakery since I moved to Buffalo Grove 3 years ago. I consider myself a baker and have very high standards for baked goods. I am honestly surprised and disappointed by how poor most “bakeries” are. This is NOT the case for Deerfields, it truly is a gem. I have ordered or picked up the following from them: donuts, pastries, coffee cakes, custom cookies, Designer singles, gelato and cake. Everything has been delicious. I especially enjoyed a Triple Chocolate Cake I ordered recently. The flourless chocolate cake was not dry, but moist and it was very generously filled with a luscious chocolate mouse. The ambiance of Deerfields is also very pleasant. I have on multiple occasions gotten breakfast at their cafe and coffees. It’s a great spot to bring your kid for a “treat” while mom and dad can enjoy some cappuccinos. I truly can not recommend this bakery enough. I will be a lifetime customer."
