"I had a somewhat disappointing experience. The food quality was mediocre, and the coffee failed to meet expectations. During my breakfast visit, the service was notably lacking; no one offered to refill my coffee, and communication with the staff was challenging. Additionally, the lack of friendly interaction, as no one smiled or engaged warmly, further diminished my dining experience."
"I wanted a delicious breakfast for lunch, so I looked about and located this eatery. Their menu is rather inviting, featuring a lot of classic American breakfast dishes with a hint of Mexican cuisine. I ordered their Andy's stuffed toast and I paid extra $4 to have it as a combo meal, which included two eggs and two bacon or sausage links. The toast has a pleasant crispness to it in addition to being fluffy. Their handmade cream sauce is the filler in between the toasts. It smelled like citrus and was moderately sweet. A rich, sweet strawberry sauce covered the toast. Because of their tart flavor, the strawberries weren't ripe. As requested, the eggs were made in a scrambled style. The eggs were moist and airy when scrambled. Lucky, there was black pepper and salt on the table because the eggs were not seasoned. The bacon had a flavorful and fatty texture, although I would have preferred it to be more crispy. They executed a basic dish of bacon and eggs quite well. I ordered their cookies and cream milkshake, which came in a glass mason jar to display the large Oreo cookie, crushed Oreos, and whipped cream. Although the look is quite tempting, which is why I initially ordered it, the taste was not up to par."
"Just got off an early morning flight from O’Hare, looking for breakfast before the day’s meetings start!! This was an awesome find. The banner outside claims the “Best breakfast in all of Illinois!” The Huevos Divarciados was delicious!! All the stuff looks good, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended for a breakfast stop!"
"I was visiting family in the area and tried this place based on the reviews and the claim of "best breakfast in Northern Illinois". I had called this place and one other breakfast cafe and the person that answered my call was friendly and helpful. I dined here with a party of 7. I will say the service was exceptional. Our waiter Christian was attentive, friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait too long for our food either. I will say that the food quality is about a 3.5/5. Nothing quite stood out, but it was definitely edible. My only comment would be the "hashbrowns" AKA cubed potatoes were overcooked, needed more seasoning, and were a bit on the oily side. Best breakfast? For the cost, service, and atmosphere - maybe. Definitely a better choice than Denny's or IHOP."
