"My recent visit to the McDonald's in Elgin, Illinois, left me feeling rather indifferent. It was neither a fantastic experience nor a terrible one; it was just... okay. Firstly, the service was standard for a fast-food restaurant. The staff was efficient in taking my order, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. So, in terms of speed, they did their job adequately. The cleanliness of the restaurant was acceptable, but it wasn't spotless. Tables were clean enough to sit at, but I couldn't help but notice some lingering crumbs and spills. Nothing overly concerning, but it could have been better. As for the food, it was the usual McDonald's fare – predictable and consistent with what you'd expect from the chain. My burger and fries tasted like what I've had at numerous other McDonald's locations, which is either a comforting familiarity or a missed opportunity for culinary innovation, depending on your perspective. What stood out positively during my visit was the availability of a clean restroom and the fact that the staff was polite and friendly, making the experience a bit more pleasant. In summary, if you're in need of a quick, no-frills meal, this McDonald's in Elgin will get the job done. However, don't expect anything extraordinary, and you'll likely leave with an unremarkable but satisfying meal."

"This is the second worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. They constantly get my order wrong and anytime I order through Uber Eats or Doordash, it’s gets either lost or I have missing items. Tonight, they first lost my entire order through Doordash so I then tried Uber eats, and they gave the delivery driver my order without my drink. When we have gone through the drive through, we get old fries in a half-filled container. I would strongly advise to avoid this location when ordering delivery or when you want your food made right."
