"So disappointed in JCPenney. I received a gift that was a wrong size. I went to the Montgomery store to see about exchanging this gift. I was told without a receipt or a gift receipt I could do nothing! I will never buy anything from JCPenny again. I wouldn't go there for a gift because I wouldn't want anyone else to be stuck with something that didn't fit or they didn't like. I understand store credit or exchange only, but nothing!"

"I went with a friend to do an even exchange for a broken present that was received for Christmas. The item was purchased in another state for a gift and unfortunately no gift receipt was given with it. This location would not do an even exchange for a broken item. Even though another location would have done it no problem, they just didn't have a replacement in stock.. the associate, I believe named Zara or Star or something said the other store lied to us and there was no way to exchange without a receipt. This location is not helpful and they seem to have almost nothing in stock. This was horrible customer service. Thank goodness for the other location that was so kind and helped us with the issue. Thank you to Vivianna at the North Aurora location."
