"Friendly staff and nice large restaurant. Was seated quickly and waiter arrived promptly. Options from salads, burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. Prices are on the higher side but you’re paying for the atmosphere and experience here. No complaints. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was tasty."
"Love this place. Food is very good. The 5 cheese and tomato pizza was tasty. The butter cake was fantastic! The service was extremely attentive and friendly. i will definitely be back for more!"
"Another great night at California Pizza Kitchen!!! Mauricio was our server for the evening, and let me just say even if he wasn’t your server you know he works hard. He was always smiling and cracking jokes making everyone feel welcomed. He was quick on his feet with food and service! Anything you asked for he got it, no problem! We loved the food and atmosphere!! Mauricio was incredible. Thank you for serving us!!"
"me and friends went for a little bit and i had forgotten my wallet and wasn’t able to tip however, did not seem a big deal to me considering the service was not good. i understand that you are supposed to tip but as i was walking out the server bombarded me about leaving a tip and asked what i was leaving. first of all you don’t ask a customer how much they wanna tip and watch them as they leave it and this man did that. I then told him i was not doing that and he told me “ why do you go out to eat if you can’t tip” The manager proceeded to tell me tips are required by law in the U.S. which is either stupidity or a blatant lie. anyways my whole group will not be revisiting and i will be calling the head of the company to leave a complaint. Horrible impression and atmosphere that they have created."
"Their food is flavorful. Service could improve. Long lags between check-ins, water wasn’t refilled even after asking. Attentive and sincere while at the table. Prices kind of high for what it is. Hope this place survives, as many of the Geneva Commons restaurants are no longer there. We enjoyed our chicken shiitake lettuce wraps, salmon with a spicy rub over roasted vegetables-delicious and couldn’t be better. We also had some pizza, so-so. We deviated from our favorite, the Thai Crunch salad. Overall a pleasant visit, but waters should be brought to the table immediately then ask what other drinks. Water is a given with any meal. Keep things moving especially with kids at the table. Soup just can’t be $10 unless you’re putting lobster in it. Sorry, but no. The salmon dinner was good but I would value it at $19 not $25. Funny that the same issue occurred twice to me in one day, so I’m noticing a pattern that could be discussed in training for restaurants. If you’re half out of something, (in this case it was soup), please don’t give the customer 1/2 the old batch and then make them wait for the new batch. If a new batch is on the way, you make the new batch and give them one consistent product or at a minimum comp the first cup since it’s the old batch so it’s charged as a cup for a bowl since the continuity of service was interrupted. I didn’t mind getting one cup there and one cup to go, but just would have handled it slightly different on the other end."
