Reviews
"This is a very unique place. It offers ice cream and drinks. No one works there and payment is on the honor system. The money is put in a coffee can."
"Love what they are doing here for cyclists. Great spot to stop and chug a Gatorade and slam a couple ice creams. Met a couple dudes that I think May have been the owners and they were very friendly as well."
"DO NOT rent bicycles from this place. They are horrible. All the seats are cracked and they are so hard to ride. We took 2 of our own bikes and rented two. I rode my bike to our destination and got 7 zone minutes on my Fitbit. Zone minutes come from how hard you are working and your heartbeats per minute. I used their bike on the way back because my son said it was hard to ride and was always way behind us. On the way back I registered 119 zone minutes and the ride was 2 miles shorter. Worst bicycle I’ve ever ridden and it just made our ride miserable. They must know it too. When we got back they were all standing in a circle talking and not a single person acknowledged us or asked about the ride even through they were 10 feet away from our car. Biggest rip off ever."
"A quaint place to find food and drink just a short walk from the tunnel. Weirdly, it restored some of my faith in humanity."
"A must see stop on the Tunnel Hill State trail. Brian is an outstanding young man who owns the old time store. Just south of the tunnel along the trail. Just sit and relax and enjoy an ice cream, water or soda. Bring cash and it was self serve when I was there"
