"Very poor experience overall. We had an appointment for our tires to be replaced at 1:00pm and for about 10 minutes, we were waiting on an attendant to show up, thankfully another employee saw us and flagged them down. We waited 2 HOURS to get my tires and they killed my battery by keeping all of my lights on for an extended time and tried telling me I had a bad battery and they looked at me like I was the negligent one. I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY BATTERY. They were about to show me my options until I was like “I NEED TO GO TO WORK. Also me and my grandpa watched you guys running my battery when not necessary.” The sheet they gave me said “declined” for my battery check, which I also found suspicious. My car has the 2018 factory battery it was sold with (new off the lot) in my eyes, there is no excuse to take 2 HOURS as well as killing my battery and having to jump me to get me home and off to work. Terrible experience to say the least."
"Had tires installed on 10/16, waited almost 2 hours with an appointment, got it my car and noticed a chunk of the dashboard was missing as it appeared the mechanic was trying to get into the dash to do something with the TPMS gouge that wasn't reset. Horrible, trying to reach someone today but what can possibly be done. Tires and Battery! Nothing should have been touched on the dashboard!!!!"
"I ordered a new set of Michelin's to be installed on my van so I scheduled an appointment. It took them 2 hours to install it. Their job is so messy that you can see your new tires stained with the sealant. After a week one of the tires started to lose air so I returned it and took them another two hours to repair. I don't trust the job that these guys do. I don't want to avail of their life time free rotation and repairs as Im afraid they'll mess up my car. Sam's club Manager did you hire these employees? I recommend they be fired as they are a disgrace to your store."
"Over 2 1/2 hours for a tire change. They rolled it in and took 2 1/2 hours to change and balance 4 small tires after quoting me 45 minutes to a hour. Personally takes me a hour to do it as I only do it once every few years and figured it'd allow my wife to get them rotated any time. Another dude waited a hour and a half with me to get his tires rotated. Both of us had appointments and rolled our vehicles in when we arrived. I could rotate tires with a hydraulic lift and air tools in 10 minutes without breaking a sweat."
"When I first inquired at Sam's the experience started good. The Gentleman at the counter told me there was a $80.00 repate on the tires I wanted. He said there was just about a 30 minute wait if I wanted to go home and get the car we could just walk the store while we wait. We went home and got the car which took a total of 15 minutes. The new person at the counter told me the wait would be "hours" I asked him what hours meant as that could be 2,3,4 I had no idea and did not have another car with me at that point. He said at least 2 hours. Not only that but I was also told the tires I chose did NOT have the $80.00 rebate. We did have someone pick us up so we did not have to sit at Sams for multiple hours. The employee told us he would call us as soon as it was finished. 3 hours later he still had not called so we went up there. The car was finished but of course no call. Not only that, he gave us the wrong persons keys in an envelope so when we went to get the car we had to go back in to get the right keys. I have gone back twice since. The first time was because they did not have the wheels balanced correctly and the vehicle shook at highway speeds. They fixed it but lost my valve stem covers and instead of putting matching stem covers on they put on two black and two grey. I have tried twice now to get a balance and rotate before a long trip and the wait again is hours long. It is the same employee at the desk and his attitude is such that he would rather folks just go somewhere else. I guess I have to go to Sam's for the balance and rotate since it is part of my package but I will be going to a location other than O'Fallon. Hopefully I will have better service there."
