"There is a variety of clothing to choose from. I love it here."
"The owner is very kind as well as helpful. I purchased the compression leggings and feel like they strongly supported my tummy and legs. Size wise - I would say it fits up to size 14 women’s. Not a one size fit all item."
"I came in on looking for a dress for my grandmother's funeral. I had my two little boys with me as well. When the owner found out why I was looking for a dress she was very empathetic, and apologized for our loss. That really touched my heart. She listened to what I was looking for and had some wonderful suggestions. We settled on the final dress that made me feel beautiful. My husband LOVED the dress, so he gets your stamp of approval as well. The owner is a the real deal yall. She is warm, loves her community, and has a very welcoming personality. I will definitely be back to add some of her cute flair for fashion to my wardrobe."
"I wish I could give zero stars. Do not purchase from this establishment unless you see an item in person or use PayPal. Do not purchase anything not posted on the online store. Make sure all of your questions are answered and be sure the seller posts pictures from every angle and side...The IG page for the store had a tote bag and only 1 side was shown. The bag had “Girl Power” on one side and to my dismay, a huge mouth with red lips on the other side. The bag was subpar (beyond poor quality) it was pebbled grain vegan leather with a magnetic closure for $90. I was too embarrassed to tell family what I paid for it and they felt it shouldn’t have cost more than $50 (only considering someone took time to do artwork on the bag). The artwork was neat, the mouth on the other side (xlarge sized with red lips) was not something I would want to be seen carrying around. The item was not on the online platform, so she (owner-Angela) asked for my email address to send an invoice, yet she failed to answer other questions I had. But nevertheless, I tried to give her small, black-owned business a chance and I sent my email address. So- as a seller, she should know that items need to be posted from all angles and had this been done, I wouldn’t have purchased the tote. She then mentions telling viewers on her IG video that the mouth is on the back of each bag. Telling and showing are two totally different things and the item still wasn’t shown on the online store. In addition, it’s not as if the mouth was meager or small, it was huge. People want to know the size/dimensions and material used in the products and they want to see everything (prior to purchasing) so there are no surprises. Bottom line...IG is not a store, but helps promote products. As a seller and buyer, I def wasn’t interested in her trendy, poor quality clothes especially upon receiving a trendy and poor quality tote. I thought the bag would be a decent purchase and I was wrong. The seller acts as if she’s doing me a favor by sending the return policy because I requested to return the tote. Then when I read it, it mentioned bags weren’t returnable. So, I called her and after speaking with her, she did offer exchange/credit, however, this is not good enough when a seller failed to be transparent about every single aspect of the product. I have a right to chose not to exchange an item I was misinformed about for trendy and poor quality clothing. I want to ship the item back at my expense, and I want a full reimbursement. Of course when I informed her of this, she’s declining and acts like keeping my money and getting something else in exchange is doing me a favor. I had to contact PayPal early on to file a dispute. Meanwhile, she had given me a contact number with the return item link. She didn’t appreciate what I had to say (when I called) , nor did she like my email message. She refuses to communicate with me any further (except through PayPal). So- I escalated the PayPal dispute to a claim. This is poor business acumen and Angela is wrong on this one. UPDATE: PayPal RULED IN MY FAVOR. I’m getting every cent back (once I return the item).I’ll mail it back at my own expense (I’ll take that small loss) as I initially requested."
