"Family friendly. Food was good fresh and hot. The gumbo didn't have much flavor to me maybe it's not what I was used to. The catfish trunks was amazing. There was a little band in the add-on edition and it's separate from the restaurant area."
"Visited for the first time. Went for gator and of course they were OUT. Something about the supplier so not swamp’s fault. The frog legs were amazing and the hubby got wings. He said they were good as well. Service was great. Facility was clean. Food came out quickly and very hot.. We will definitely go back. I really want to try the gator! I gave it a four simply because we went for the gator."
"Good atmosphere. Unique decor. So-So food. I had shrimp poboy. It was hot and lots of bread. Shrimp was good. Hubby had a Tenderloin was really good!"
"I really struggled on whether or not to give four or five stars. Just because the food ended up not being exactly my thing doesn't mean I should ding the restaurant for that. However, it doesn't seem fair to the places that I give full marks to if I am not sometimes critical. If you want some good old fashioned fried stuff , then this is the place for you! They also have really cool options. Although they were out of a lot of them the day we visited."
"This is a unique place for this region of the country and being Cajun, I was intrigued. I ordered the crawfish etouffee plate and it was surprisingly good. The rice was a bit undercooked and the portions were not very impressive but just having some good etouffee made my little complaints exactly that....little! The owner spends a lot of his time in south Louisiana from what I was told and it shows. The establishment has the look and feel of a typical food and beer joint of the deep south and that made me feel right at home. I suspect I will be back and will be soon :)"
