"Went to eat there last night. Got there before 7, as soon as we opened the door we were told, "we are closed . Very rude, snooty attitude. As for being told to look at the sign on the door, stating you close at 7, why not invest in a white board or put your piece of construction paper at or close to eye level, not close to the bottom of the door. My main issue was how rude this lady was"
"We visited Carlyle for work and were told to go here and try the Paulsenburger. It did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious (ps you’ll need a fork)! The owners (server & cook) are wonderful, and the place is neat and clean with charming decor. I definitely recommend trying this place if you’re in the area."
"The double cheeseburger was made with fresh ground local hamburger. The biggest and tastiest hamburger that I have eaten in years."
"The place looked neat, the first thing that you will notice is a giant sign.saying cash only. The waitress/bartender reminded us 3 times of that as she told us that our group of 6 was the maximum number of people that they could serve at 1 time. Kinda lackadaisical attitude towards us as customers and I got the idea that we were bothering her by coming in. We got our food a piece at a time, with explanation that they have a small frier and couldn't do everything at the same time. The food was good the atmosphere was dull with the attitude, I may try it again sometime later, maybe things will improve......we will see."
"Burgers are huge! Laid back atmosphere, enjoyed watching the St Louis Cardinal game while we were there. Food takes a while but it's made from scratch. Relaxed and enjoyed their selection of local craft beers."
