"Former Resident (12/21-12/23) in the 7201 Building (probably the nicest one of the three), second floor with a patio, 750 sq ft. Rent was $1050 when I moved in. Price Realty (terrible company) took over and raised the rent $150 a month to $1200. Wouldn’t negotiate, wouldn’t even call me back after the manager told me they would. I was offered a renewal at a slightly lower price the second year (still much higher than advertised online for new people to move in), but changes in life meant moving was the best option. Residents moving in closer to my departure, lacked a lot of good neighbor qualities. Left trash around, dog waste, blasting music in the parking lot super late. Police were present EXTREMELY often. This is the complex where the police officer was ASSAULTED! This impacts the community! There WILL be police bias towards residents here. Never had bugs, but keep a very clean space with regular deep cleaning and taping up holes under the sink. The laundry situation is gross. I would take my laundry to other places. It’s so grimy, and had passive aggressive papers taped up negotiating the repair of the broken laundry equipment for the return of tools. Had to fight tooth and nail to get my deposit back. They locked me out of my apartment before I could finish cleaning and return the keys. Attempted to charge me $300 in cleaning fees, (already paid) water bills, etc., including keeping my deposit. Terrible management company."
"I was renting at this complex for several years. It is owned by Price Realty(they are terrible) I'll try to be as objective as possible but there were so many annoying things I had to leave a review. First off, you get what you pay for. Rent (at the time) was relatively priced well. The rent was raised every time I had to resign the lease. Pro's 1. They keep the pool clean and working 2. Maintenance shows up to fix issues promptly. (If they deem it worth their time) 3. Break-ins are very rare but still happen here. (Car) 4. Heating works great in the winter 5. The leasing staff are very nice and helpful but limited on what can be done because Price Realty sucks. Con's 1. Gated complex (the gate is always broken because they have no way to stop people from literally driving into it and breaking it) So it's always left open. It's likely left open because nobody remembers their code to get in. 2. There is building favoritism, it's very obvious if you walk around. (The building closest to the leasing office) 3. Dog waste EVERYWHERE! This happened after they removed several pet waste bins, and the waste bins became full very quickly. Lots of pet owners here who don't pick up after their dogs. 4. When you put in a maintenance request, they will just walk into your house, they don't knock even when you say you need them to call ahead. They never call or email to let you know of times and dates. 5. Onsite washers and dryers, half are always broken so have fun walking around this complex looking for one that isn't in use and working. 6. Walls are pretty thin, you can hear mild conversations on TV at low volumes. 7. Roaches will be here ready to greet you. Even if you are a clean freak, when someone moves out who was gross they are coming no matter what. 8. Small onsite gym where half the equipment is broken or busted. 9. RATS! This place has rats! 10. Don't take the carpeted apartments, they will take your deposit no matter what condition it is in because the carpet hasn't been replaced in years. 11. Broken water sprinklers 12. Dumpsters are always overflowing (say high to the raccoons you will meet!) 13. People driving at 25 mph through the parking lot causing many wrecks. (I witnessed at least 8 while being there) 14. The A/C over-freezing and leaking constantly. 15. Package theft, buy yourself a door cam. 16. Disorganized office staff, information is not updated or stored correctly, make sure you keep detailed records yourself! 17. Don't expect to get your security deposit back without having to take them to small claims court! *Be sure to view all the reviews with pictures cause they are true!*"
"FYI there are rats in the walls too. If they chew enough wires and the building burns ~maybe~ they'll fix the washing machines...or sewage back ups...or roach infestation...or car break ins... But hey, at least the fire department has easy access since we can't have anything outside."
"My friend lives here and still has time on her lease. So I will be leaving a review for her because she doesn’t want any backlash from it until her lease is up. Having said that, I wanted to fair warn anyone thinking of living here! They have 6 areas of washer and dryers but the machines are so old they are either full of water or doesn’t work. So she’s not able to wash in her own apartment area because of poor maintenance and machines. They have yet to get them fixed since she’s lived here. Then there’s the matter of roaches which apparently they’ve become immune because I’ve been here for so long to every thing she’s tried doesn’t faze them or more come from other apartments. She’s extremely clean and never leaves anything out. The first month alone her kitchen sink stopped up twice. The kitchen faucet isn’t even the correct size which wobbles everywhere. Her icemaker leaks water so she can’t even have an icemaker. Then she’s not even allowed to have any chairs or plants out on her front porch or she will be in violation and they will fine her. Now if they would focus as much on the facility, it’s self to fix it up and take care of their tenets as they do worrying about what they have sitting on their porch. It might not be a bad place. It may show as a gated apartment complex but the entrance gate never closes so that’s false they have no where do you wash your clothes? The facility itself is old and rundown. I’m just not sure I would want to live here. Just a heads up."
"This place is terrible. The laundry situation is abysmal, I’m washing my clothes by hand right now. Every single one of the washing machines in my building are broken and all but one have been for about 6 months. No W/D hookups either. New management has decided to implement a bunch of new rules and is gearing up to hand out lease violations instead of focusing on fixing basic necessities first. Our courtyard is muddy and for the most part lifeless. Pet stations aren’t maintained nearly as much as they need to be. There’s dog poop EVERYWHERE because we’re out of bags so often. Maintenance will enter without notifying me so I can’t make sure my animals are secured, even though it is specified on tickets that the tenant should be notified. One time they entered without knocking while I was home and let my dogs out. The leasing office will ignore your emails consistently and say “oh I didn’t see that”. Sure. Maybe these reviews will finally get some attention from management. Who knows. I really just want to be able to wash my clothes and be able to sit by my window with the blinds open without being depressed. This has truly been my worst renting experience. For now the price is right. Who knows what it will be if/when they do any of the renovations they promise. The one upside is that it’s the cheapest rent without having to live in Riverside area, which is why I’m still here. If you have to live here just make sure you look at all three buildings, not just the prettier one right by the office, so you have an idea of how neglected the buildings they don’t show are."
