"The people were super nice and it's a fairly colorfully cozy spot to sip coffee and eat food. IF you can even drink your coffee and enjoy your food. Some of the worst coffee I've had in a coffee shop and the food was very overpriced for the quality. Not inedible, but not up to a standard I expect when I go out. Best to avoid this place unless you're a garbage disposal and will eat/drink anything."
"I would not recommend this place to anyone! Our food was not good and our drinks were absolutely horrible to where we just had to dump them out. The biscuits and gravy tasted like perfume, it was very sweet. For the amount you pay, you don't get much food. I thought the red velvet cold brew tasted like paint and my boyfriend thought it tasted like cigarettes, it was disgusting. The lavender latte tasted watered down and like just milk, there was no coffee flavor to it. I called a few days later to talk to the manager and she seemed fairly nice and did say sorry, but also seemed like she didn't believe me because she told me how everyone else likes their stuff. I asked if it would be possible to get any refund and she said no because we didn't do it while we were there. I told her that we had taken our coffees to go, otherwise we would have asked for new ones of those. She still said no and that I had waited days to call. She didn't try to offer a re-do of a drink if we came back in again or anything. Plus, she didn't ask how they could make the situation right. Definitely not impressed with this place or their management."
"We went there for breakfast order just coffee and avocado toast. It took over 40 mins to get the coffee which was cold. Breakfast when arrived was also cold, was not complete and took longer to get the rest of it. Quality of food is also not good compared to their prices. $8 for an avocado toast which didn’t have real and enough avocado. Would not recommend this place to anyone."
"Of all the coffee shops in the greater St. Louis area, this is by far the best! Best pumpkin latte (Grand Pumpkin), best breakfast burrito, best product offerings, best atmosphere, best seating, best everything! Employees were friendly, seating was inviting, drinks were absolutely perfect and food seasonings & spice were just right!"
"My husband and I enjoyed our time here when we stopped in on our coffee tour. We stopped by during breakfast time so we ordered food as well as coffee. The food was delicious, homey, down-to-earth, comforting, and the filling type of food that satisfied both of us. The coffee was very decent too, we both ordered specialty drinks such as an espresso tonic (loved the old fashioned cocktail presentation! See photo!), and iced lattes. The laid-back atmosphere was decent for studying, relaxing, and talking together. I know this establishment stands alone from Good News Brewing company, but I have also been there and had a satisfying experience. It’s clear that the ownership appears very solid and a welcome addition to our community in these restaurants!"
