"Horrible experience!! From being in the hospital for 2 weeks in antepardem with the moldy bathrooms. (I have pictures) to the NICU level 3,4 and 2. This is where our little sick babies are. The nurses were rude, lack of training and they don’t know how to talk to parents. There is no consistency of care at all. From the Doctors, down to the cleaning people. They Don’t wash their hands and apparently it’s a policy that they ONLY have to wash their hands once a shift and that’s at the beginning of the shift. Even if they leave the entire unit(Got that information from upper management, who told myself and patient advocate that)Nurses were always on their phones watching movies and scrolling Facebook, in NICU 4 and 2. The charge nurses don’t have any training to be in any type of management. They don’t even know how to de escalate situations. They come in defense mode by what they were told by a nurse and call security if you have anything to say back, even if you speak with a quiet tone. They don’t care! She said, “ we don’t like when you question our job/education “They are focused on getting the parents kicked out by security and telling the whole unit they did so. NICU 2 & 4 is like a high school. They tell each other, other patients information and spread rumors about the parents when they don’t like them. Which makes nurses that never took care of your child hesitant and scared to work with you based on someone else’s opinion (lie)Don’t try to advocate for your child because you are AUTOMATICALLY labeled as a combative parent and they tell the other nurses and based off the rumors nurses don’t want to care for your baby. I had one nurse named Courtney tell me, “ that’s why no one wants to work with your son and your running out of nurses, all because I spoke up to advocate for my son and asked her If she could change the tape on his face because it was old. She was very rude about it and didn’t do it and walked off and made that comment. After that all the nurses were mean, rude and unprofessional to us, except our 7 primary because they knew who we really were and how we really were just advocating for our son. A nurse name Patricia that precepts was very rude and yelling at my husband because she said she told him something she didn’t and he told her she didn’t tell him and she got really defensive and yelled at him infront of everyone. Myself and others saw and heard other nurses speaking about me and passing by my area just to see who I was. Not only was I concerned for my son, I was concerned that when I wasn’t there, they would do something to him. I was literally terrified to leave. I Spoke with upper management about every incident that occurred and everything was handled except for the nurses. The asst director even acknowledged the fact that the nurses were poking and provoking me and she knows everyone is talking and gossiping about me in the unit and she would work on getting them to stop! They needed to be fired! They treated me and other moms inhumane. And if your baby is a crying baby that won’t stop crying, they will neglect the care to your baby. I watched them do this for 2 months to other babies in the unit! My baby was a quiet/easy baby is what they labeled him so he got pretty much the good nurses, at first until I start asking them questions and wondering why stuff wasn’t getting done! The hospital has old equipment and is very outdated. It took them 2 days to realize my son’s oxygen pole was not working. It took for me to demand someone to come check it for them to only tell me that it was broken and needed to be replaced. They were even given my child old formula milk that sat out for 3 hours EVERY feed to “save milk” when it should be trashed after opened for 1 hour. Some days I literally would have to mentally prepare myself to walk in that hospital because I never knew what was going to happen, (with the unprofessional nurses). RUN! DONT WALK! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I have all the proof in writing and pictures I have taken from the wrongdoings here! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!"
"Best Hospital Ever!! From TCH Pavilion For Women Too TCH!! My Ob Dr.Crl Lee is the best ever!! I unfortunately had a premature pregnancy and was staying at the hospital for 5 weeks until baby decided to come at 28 weeks! But from my time staying at the pavilion and my baby being at NICU we've gotten the best experience ever!! Nurses show alot of care!! Doctors call to update you EVERYDAY about baby how he’s doing etc. this hospital has cared for me and my baby very well and im so proud of that! WAIT!!! MY labor & delivery RN was a problem….. she did not care for me and my pain, she inserted my foley completely wrong, she did not call for my epidural, did not want to give me medicine… etc. but other than that the other nurses were great!!"
"Very caring nurses and RNs at niccu. I highly recommend to have child birth at this hospital since tch is number 2 in nation. The way they taking care of me n baby is like a mother would take care of a child."
